God’s been convicting me of similar things as well! It’s so easy to get caught up in the pursuit of worldly or fleshly desires and not realize that we have everything we need in Christ, at all times it’s available to us and we don’t take advantage of it… still learning to find all my joy and contentment in Christ and not my circumstances. Also, the list work tasks and life tasks will never end. So just like how we stop them and take a break to brush our teeth and eat, we need to take a break to rest to and to nourish our soul with God's word too ❤
I have been convicted by this and I realize I may need to cancel my tv subscription too. It has taken the place of spending time with God and I've been feeling bad about it. I knew I wasn't prioritizing bible study and I would try to listen to audio but it wasn't consistent because my flesh kept wandering towards watching the tv show. I wasn't too busy but I was more focused on entertaining myself instead of putting my spiritual wellbeing first. All the peace, joy and success we're looking for is found in Jesus. When we sit at His feet, He will guide the way to that in a practical manner but He wants to come first. And He should. Thank you Kaci for your honesty. I think it's time I go sit with Jesus. I agree with what Jesus said, the branch can't bear fruits, if it's not on the vine and to bear fruits, we also must to stay on the Vine of the Lord. We shouldn't never be so much busy to not have time to spend with God, because only Him can give us the fruits of the Spirit, as you said. We must always put God first in our lives 🙏. You are spreading the Word of God, bringing people the real Peace 🕊️, as Jesus said, more than two thousands years ago, "I give you My Peace 🕊️, My Peace I give you, not the peace the world can give...". I just finished a 60 day fast from video games, as I realized they were getting in the way of a lot of things. I set aside 15-20m every day talking and listening for God, even if it's in my car! I've found the more I do this, the more I hear from Him, in direction and prompters throughout my day. (I do talk to Him throughout my day, I just try to do the 15-20m in the morning as well.) Today was my first day playing a video game, after the fast and I time limited myself, so I don't let it consume too much of my time! This is a great video and so timely too! :)
Wow the part about canceling Netflix stood out to me and was encouraging to see that drastic step taken to cancel that because you needed to take away that excuse to get up in the mornings to spend with God. I got to examine myself as well and take those more drastic steps to make sure that I prioritize my time with Jesus. Thank you Kaci. I had fully convinced myself that I don’t have time to attend the evening church service or Bible studies. The reality is that it’s more convenient to listen to it replay while playing a game on my phone.
I’m shocked at how you asked what’s the end of that busyness because I never really thought about it that way before. For me it would be distracting and numbing myself, I’ve learned in therapy that I can scroll for hours because that’s my brains way of keeping me numb to what’s going on around me and my mind has made THAT my safe space. I have a bad habit of staying up once everyone else has fallen asleep because (as a sahm of 4) I feel like that’s the only time the house is quiet and I can rest in that silence, but again I’m scrolling because I feel like I’ve earned this me time with everything I do at home but reality is I’m just prioritizing me and forgetting that I can enjoy that quiet time with God ❤ Or actually sleep and have some quiet morning times
Thanks Kaci. A great encouragement. I dont think anyone is too busy to find the time for what really matters to us. It is about getting our priorities right. We all have 24 hours in our day. Its how we manage them that matters.
We are a Well of Living Water, if all we do is Read His Word, Pray, etc. We Become Stagnant. We can get stuck in that rut and Keep going in circles. Feeling Out of sync, depressed, Not happy, Lost, etc. We Need to be Telling Others what Christ has Done in Our Live and how we were Saved and how They can be. By Doing all these things, Praying, Reading The Bible, telling Others, We Draw Closer to The Lord and Become Stronger. We are a Well of Living Water that Must keep Flowing. Stop Any One thing, We Become Stagnant again.

Answer to question 2…..church work. I recently made and announced my decision to back away from my church’s Women’s Department. I’d become so busy with the administrative and event related tasks on top of being a full-time remote worker, with husband, kids, and a puppy. I was running myself ragged while neglecting my personal devotion time with the Lord c
This speaks right to my situation. It's a heart check for me too. These questions are challenging for me. I don't even know my answer to the first one but I'm putting just busyness before the Lord. I believe I have to keep going and checking things off my to-do list when I just need to stop and spend time with the Lord.
I'm busy trying to piece it but seem to be getting nowhere fast but little by little as he says will get it done so just let him do his thing and when it's time he will let me know but sticking with him on a daily so I don't miss the call!!!❤❤
Hi sweet Kaci, I’ve been out of church since before major spinal cord surgery and have not yet been back. I love, love studying Gods word, yet in a horrible slump of putting other things first, then before I know it, it’s late and just want to pray and go to sleep. I know, I know, I know that I have to get in Gods word and study in depth as soon after I take my furr baby out, then feed her and get back into what I used to do. I also realize that Satan can really deceive us and we must rebuke him, I’m studying the book of Joshua and I absolutely love this book. There are so many times I have gotten in slumps of not putting God First and my daily life suffers from that void, so yes, I have to prioritize and make myself stop and do it,and before I know it, I will be back in my God TIME. THANK YOU SO MUCH AS THIS TRULY RESONATES WITH ME.

He is coming soon. I also want everyone to realize that when I wear a Martin Luther King Jr. T-shirt on his birthday the whole public turned away from me. Some literally turn their back in spoke under their breath oh God she’s wearing a Martin Luther King Jr shirt. Why do you think that is?? The Lord drop the song by meatloaf in my spirit a little while ago.. I would do anything for love, but I won’t do that. Nobody knew what the lyrics meant the fans were confused and even Meat Loaf himself had no explanation that made sense. Everyone wants love but they won’t pick up their cross. Why does God want to vomit lukewarm people from his mouth??? It is the very reason why evil persists!!!! Evil has been conquered long time ago!!!!!!! this is a loving reminder- God is so gracious like that. He is coming soon for the remnants. Those who aren’t ALL IN Will stay here for seven years until God comes back.
The struggle is real when you become a mom (mom of 3 here)..I recently spoke about this and what I did as a new mom to help me with this struggle. I’m now a mom if 3 a college boy, a high school boy, and a preschooler 😮 😊 . The true teaching of Tithing: How much time we spend in silence listening for the still small voice of God, i.e., Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnidimensional, Infinite Consciousness...... God is manifest as the very life of our being....God Already IS, and our prayers should indicate this!! There's no pleading to God. Prayer should only be a declaration of God's Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Infinite Self.....! Our True Spiritual Self!! If we keep this in our thoughts at all times, this word of truth which is alive in each of us, it will externalize itself as our health, our supply, our home, our friends, our love for all others as ourselves, etc, etc....

While I agree with the application of this video, the idea of silence to listen to God's Voice is too much like Jesus Calling IMO instead of just taking time to hear and read the Bible where you will definitely hear God speak. (Hebrews 1:1-2, 4:12)
i feel like the end of all my business is after all the loads of homework, eventually after i graduate and get my dream job, you know just that “dream future” i want to achieve. but i realize that it is only done with Jesus ❤🫶🏼🙌🏼
