Beside the Renewable energy thing, I love the brick concept in the house, the open kitchen and the minimalist design. looks really nice. Nice project love it Well done Steve.
I appreciate people who understand what they do. As an architect in Nigeria, It hurts whenever I see structures in Nigeria built by developers who do not really go through a deep thinking process but built all for profit or copy and paste. First, We are in a hot region, concrete Bricks have really high thermal mass meaning they store heat from the surrounding and realize it at night Hence increasing indoor temperature during the night hence more electricity just to cool the interior ... bricks on the other hand has a high structural Integrity , durability plus it’s an excellent temp regulator( when it’s hot outside you are cool inside and vice versa).
Bricks use more sand. It will cost more overall. If you increase the size like our conventional blocks, it will crack easy too. You will need more red bricks to stand a building than when it is sand bricks. So while red bricks is wonderful an idea, I don't think it is totally true that it's cheaper in terms of finance. Renewable energy is the way to go in terms of electricity... Thanks for the video bro. Great work
They use 60:40 laterite mixed with sand and then 10% cement. This lowers the amount of cement used. The laterite is obtained from the red soil. It is similar to rammed earth techniques for building homes. Check out this video ruclips.net/video/8l5L9olRiuI/видео.html or ruclips.net/video/3RyHy1bNJuU/видео.html
If I already own a land and ready to erect a planned structure, can these guys be contacted to help develop with all this facilities included please? Which area on the main land do they have their estates already built and furnished please?
The mainland development has been suspended owing to popular demand for Island development. We are currently selling offplan our Lakowe Beachfront development, Ibeju-Lekki as we keep up the drive to create a green bubble.

Nigerian blocks are not even built to be durable. Some other country blocks are way stronger than what we have in our country but I love the brick idea especially the cooling part idea and why are our Building agencies not enforcing the use of this brick. They give a different look which is distinct from the normal blocks.
It looks nice, but why do Nigerians build very small kitchens. It makes it very difficult for someone like me to buy already built homes. I love big kitchens even if it is open plan.
Hey Steve I can’t seems to find the link reach out to this people can you help on that please 🙏 And I am trying to reach you on Facebook but I guess you’re not really use to it?

Everyone is just trying to manage space
Imagine living there and getting a bill from phcn.
There is no PHCN meter or links in our homes and Estate at all hence no reason to expect them bringing a bill to us
Lies too much in your scientitific revelation. Probably just 5% is true. Good video though..
