What got me , was that he did not believe she didn't send his paternity to the tabloids. She did not do it. Evil Gwen and Rebecca did that to Ethan. At the point , I would have left town to get away from that kind of people , who say they love you, and then accuse you of lying, when you really didn't. Ethan should have believed Theresa , but Gwen was brainwashing him ,with her lies. But Theresa had to be very strong to put up with how much time she was hurt by Ethan ,believing in Gwen too much. After all the stuff she pulled over the years. Look at all the lies Gwen told over the years. Plus she went all psycho on Theresa and Sheridan. Almost killed Theresa more then 3 times. And still he did not believe Theresa. Their were clues. Plus Rebbeca had too many racist comments to Theresa . Rebecca does have a big mouth. And calling the Lopez Fitzgerald's low life's, was wrong too. If anyone was a low life, well I would say Gwen and Rebecca would be the ones to sink in deep waters.
More like for a decade he's been manipulated stalked and lied to masterfully by a couple blondes one of which couldn't get over the fact that he chose another woman over her while his mother believed her because the frame job was so well done that all the fingers pointed squarely to Theresa but Eithan most people forget that he's a lawyer and the best ones have a strong sense of justice and belief in the law but sometimes they get tunnel vision in what is believed to be the truth even though its a lie many have been wrongfully convicted because of that

If his sense of justice was so strong, he would have done more to stop Gwen, Rebecca, and Ivy from hurting people, especially the woman he loved. @@nevermindmyname813 this kind of manipulation happens every day and even Ivy Leagues can be and as far as I know Ethan never truly left her and always went back but Gwen and Ivy kept manipulating away by blackmail through what Theresa valued most remember one thing is that the evidence was pointed squarely at Theresa and people working in the law rely on evidence and all the evidence that Theresa was innocent kept being destroyed now instead put yourself in his shoes and think not about what you would have done especially with the main thing first you were part of a family that was wealthy beyond imagination then all that was taken from you in a instant with all the proof pointed right at one person
Juanita Vasquez wanted Theresa's family killed, because she was having an affair with a married man, who murdered his own children while his wife watched. Would not put past the mob boss to.ask him to do that. And Pilar killed the cheating husband. Juanita Vasquez wanted revenge , so she had Pilar's sister and nephews killed. Next was Pilar's family and friends.
What I find odd is that Gwen think that Juanita going kill all of Pilar’s family except Ethan. She going kill Ethan half-sisters, half-Brother , his niece & most important HIS CHILDREN. Sorry , Gwen but Ethan became a part of Pilar ‘s Family the moment Eve told Theresa she pregnant with Little Ethan.
