I replaced 4 Hayward lights in 5 years, they are junk and cost too much and Hayward knows it. You can change to a $79 light that works better and takes about 1 hour to retrofit without draining you pool. I watched someone's video on how to replace for under $100 GREAT VIDEO AND EASY TO DO ON RUclips PEOPLE ARE SICK OF GETTING RIPPED OFF BY HAYWARD
These light bulbs are up to a $1,000 to replace and ours worked less than a year. they fill up with water after awhile and stop working. The company hasn't bothered to fix these faulty expensive lights and continue to sell these crappy lights to unsuspecting buyers!
They die out with in 3 years or 4 and Hayward’s answer.. Oh well! Time for another $700 per light!!!! Plus your install per light!!! I have 3 lights... If they don’t help, I’ll never buy their brand aver again. They know this lights have issues but choose to ignore. Don’t buy this over priced lights from a company that doesn’t care!
