Great vid! Fly fishing is the most unique of fishing.I've caught many Bass and perch on the fly with much excitement, I can onlyl imagine catching Tarpon or any other saltwater fish! The explosion of fish, wow! Great vid! Thumbs up!
I have caught plenty of barramundi but not yet on fly- it has become my next goal in fishing. I have seen it done and dropped a few myself but never got one to the boat! Interestingly we get tarpon here too, in the same place as barramundi- they're always fun to catch on the fly but get overlooked due to their more popular neighbours. They never get as big as the Florida tarpon, the biggest I've caught is about 2 feet long, but I've heard they can get to 3 feet. I use an 8wt with an intermediate line for the barra, but think I could downgrade to a 5 or 6wt next time if I just want to catch tarpon.
great vid. My little brother and I love bridge hopping the Trail as well as 29...by the way, a Toyota will spool your 8wt...just sayin'...Anyways, you should add small kayaks to your arsenal for that area, just a little 10' kayak, and you can start to get back into some of those areas that you look at longingly from the guardrail.
Lautaro, keep casting and you will get one. Check out my video on the T3 Gurgler and this will help you put fish in the air. Post a picture on our Facebook or Instagram page when get your fish.
LOL, that's awesome! That drag must have screamed that day. Yeah, we have wanted to explore the backcountry more and get into the mangrove tunnels. Maybe another film someday. We have started collaborating with other fly fisherman on new films. I like being behind the camera just as much as pulling on the fish. Send me a message if you want to work on a film together someday.
jhon savage Sorry it wasn't your style of cinematography. I am addicted to art house films and it bleeds into my own creations. Sincerely, thanks for checking out my film.
Saw this video when it first came out and I just had to see it again. great work and the trail really is a magical place
+Eri Sierra Thanks Eri for coming back for another watch.

Big thanks Vince! I am stoked to see the new swag that is coming from SWC soon.
Nicely Done. Love the trail!

Big thanks Court!
Dude this is the best way I've ever seen someone describe the trail. There's a reason we'll take any excuse we can to drive out there.
That means a lot. Thanks so much!

What a great film! I hope there are more like this coming. I am watching it from the other side of the world, in Northern Australia

It's great you guys enjoy the fishing but it sure doesn't need anymore publicity. Our sport has been ruined by all the film makers. Lets stop already
Great video
Luke Panz Thanks for checking out our film.
