    UV/protection filters are stupid af to say the least, but putting the filter in with the hood on... 😂

    May I know, why was it mentioned that while travelling, the lens should be separated from the body ?

      @Reuel T I have a bag which can accomodate both lens n camera attached.. so I hope that should be fine..

      ​@@TomalBhattacharjee that's not the point, the entire mechanism and optics array is very fragile. Take cues from the heavy machinery industry or from the automotive industry. The vehicles or machines are not completely assembled before a transit. Post transit, some assembly is required. The ILCs are no different. You run the risk of physical damage more if you keep your camera gear assembly as it is rather than dismantling the more fragile bits and keep them cushioned in a proper bag separately.
