You can say: 'We have a meeting this coming Monday.' Here, you are using the verb 'have' as a STATE verb to mean 'experience'. You probably have a meeting every Monday You can say: 'We are having a meeting this coming Monday.' Here, you are using the verb 'have' as an ACTION verb to mean 'hold, organise'. It has a more active sense, and it is probably a special meeting.
She is definitely one of a kind. However, they are many other great teachers on youtube. Minoo, I could never go wrong with your exercises after the way you've just explained the subject lol. Good work!
Yes, as I mentioned in the lesson, for 'timetables' connected with your arrangements, you should use the Present Simple Tense. Therefore, your three sentences are all correct.
@@AngloLinkEnglish If I have to write a Newsletter informing that a MoU between two organization "is going to/will" be signed to protect the Indigenous Peoples....in this case, we say...The MoU is going to be signed between XX and YY, or will be signed?

Yes, they should give you enough context to know. If they give you a very precise time such as at 5:00 tomorrow, it is clearly an appointment. If they just say 'next week', 'this month' etc. and there isn't enough information to be sure it is an appointment or arrangement, then I would choose 'going to'.
See my answer to Cris above. When 'have' means 'own, possess, experience', it is a STATE verb, and doesn't take a continuous tense. When it is a synonym for an ACTION verb, it can take a continuous tense: I have a headache at the moment. / I am having (taking) a shower at the moment.
I really love your organized teaching method, calm manner, and used examples and comparisons because they make everything clear smoothly. Thanks a lot, Ahmad,
lesson as usual well done, made light of the quality of the teacher who still choose examples and easy to understand. I have a regret, that of having to take lessons with long intervals of time between lessons and another. thanks a lot. Forgive my many mistakes
Thank you dear Mino for that awesome lesson which emphasis using of future tense. I'm eager to watch all of your lessons to get the benefit and improve my language

I have struggled with my English speaking for a long time. Now I know that to speak English you must have a good teacher (native speaker) or you must find a method that will fit with your lifestyle. The hard truth is that to be a good English speaker you need a lot of practise. Good luck everybody!
'Communication' has a larger sense than just speaking. Oral communication includes listening and speaking. Written communication includes reading and writing.
You are right that 'see' (gain visual awareness) and 'have' (own / possess) in their original meaning do not take a Continuous Tense. However, in these two examples, they are replacing action verbs, and can therefore be used in a Continuous Tense: I am having dinner... = I am eating dinner... I am seeing him .... = I am attending an appointment with him ....
perfect grammar section which helps me a bunch. The explanation is simple and extremely clear. xie xie. please give us more lessons and we are looking forward to them.😄
You really have a deep understanding of the English grammar. I watch many videos by different English teachers on different grammar topics but each time I come across something new in your videos, which were missing in most of other related videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.(please correct my English sentences in case there is any mistake, if possible)
Well, I should tell you that you helped me a lot in understanding the future tenses and the tricky differences between the past tenses. Thank you a lot.
+Ehab Goda You're welcome, Ehab. If you would like to watch my other lessons too, you can find them on my website www.anglo-link.com under 'Video Lessons' and 'Exercises'.
I will be doing a video on 'Articles' soon. However, I am not sure what you mean by 'Verb Patterns'. If you mean 'Verb Tenses', I have already covered them extensively.
It depends on whether: a) It is a plan to do so, but he hasn't made an appointment: 'He is going to see his lawyer next week.' OR b) He has already made an appointment: 'He is seeing his lawyer (at 3:00 on Tuesday) next week.' As you can see, in the second example (your example), there is a time and a date as well, but the speaker is choosing not to mention them.
That's right. The rule is: Don't use a Future Tense, but a Present Tense, after an expression of time: When / As soon as / Before / Until ... he ARRIVES ...

Thanks for your videos. Various times you explain me better than in my school. You really have a way to explain very good. For certain, Can you make a video about verb patterns and phrasal verbs.
If you watch my previous video (lesson 6), I explain that Future Simple, whether with a time marker or without one, refers to either a decision at the time of speaking or a possibility in the future. To tell your listener that you have made an arrangement for specific time or date in the future, you should use the Present Continuous.
Hello, thank you for this video, it's awesome. A few days ago I taught a lesson on the difference between the two tenses and I provided similar explanation to yours, but after the lesson I was wondering if I had been really right about the diference between the two tenses. Your video is very understandable and clear and it reassured me I gave correct explanation to my students, so I regained my self-confidence thanks to your lecture:-) I especially love the examples in the section COMMON MISTAKES.
