I saw this earlier this year, and I think it's my absolute favorite art piece, period. Nam June Paik inspires me, and I love how his medium is so electronic and entwined in technology and the future!!!
I helped the late Nam June Paik set up an elaborate installation piece at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) in the mid-80's when I was getting my film/art/video degree there. Very cool cat, man.
I've been into video and vintage video effects for over 20 years and only discovered Nam June Paik in more recent years, his work is magnificent! I saw one of his great TV sculptures which was the Abraham Lincoln TV sculpture with video art displayed on the TVs at MONA Art Museum in Hobart, Tasmania, it was great to see in person!
