A match so awful, so heatless, and so boring that it made Jericho vs Hook look passable in comparison. That takes a lot of effort.

When it came to wrestlers being unhappy in WWE Vince was easy to blame; either it was the schedule, their booking, force to put on silly stupid gimmicks, frustrated with creative, or Vince's micromanagement. But without the company's structure and leadership wrestlers that are let to their own devices the fans realizes that their not is good as they thought especially with Mercedes matches and promos.

Mercedes is good when she have someone strong like Charlotte or Bayley to play with. In AEW, everyone has their own ego and won't do anything lower than what they are so she became shitty

Back in the day I used to complain why Vince doesn't push this guys. After AEW came into existence I knew exactly why he doesn't push those guys half of the guys who got released or were unhappy with WWE didn't draw anything in AEW because they are not ready to be the top guy in national TV. Cesaro, Adam Cole, Malakai Black, Keith Keez Miro and so on have proved Vince right.
At scrum Mercedes seemed to not know the queen's dead.

I remember that from Medusa. It explains everything when you watch the women wrestle.
It's almost like having some kind of dedicated center to practice, get that rung rust off, rehabilitate from injury, etc can be quite beneficial. And not just to the women.

Britt sandbagged the match because she knew she is no longer the woman of AEW division. She tried to be the "Charlotte" of the division with all the creative control and couldn't be fired hence her huge ego. Britt probably would be gone once her original contract that she signed back in 2019 is up and based on her ego and her comments about the PC. WWE won't even pick her.

If a sloppy Sasha match means that her opponent is sandbagging then, boy, her opponents tend to sandbag A LOT.
The way that match ended with her losing clean even after Kamille was out the equation felt like management sending Britt a message.

Personally, I've found Sasha Banks' AEW run to be VERY underwhelming. At the same time, it has also reminded me of what happens when the WWE machine isn't behind you and you don't have opponents who can "carry" you in matches.
Was in the audience for this and it made an £8 pint seem palatable.

Here's the thing: in the ring Britt's been bad BEFORE these "issues". That's well documented. As for her "good matches" she got carried in them. Again, that's well documented

Britt Baker is awful, specially as a baby face. The closest thing to a good she’s had was her trash hardcore match with Thunder Rosa. The fact that Hayter returned on the preshow and not during this match speaks volumes
Indeed, feels like Hayter's return was demanded to be put on the preshow so it does not take the spotlight from brit or mone.

Which I’m not surprised cause when Hayter was champ Britt would do all the talking and would take most of the spotlight 🤷♂️

Britt telegraphs her matches. If she comes down to the ring jumping up and down with her hands raised on the air, you know she’s winning. If she walks down to the ring really fast and all mopey, you know she’s losing.
Obviously it wasn’t some masterpiece or anything but did anyone else find Meltzer rating this considerably higher than May vs Storm kinda insane?? It was arguably the 3rd best singles match on the card
Dave truly hates toni storm. Her match star ratings are routinely the lowest on the card - by a lot, all in she got 1/2 a star? Or 1.5? One of those 2. I used to wonder if it was inside joke between dave and toni but it seems he truly loathes her.

Britt has always been just a small level above Anna Jay in terms of in-ring ability. She's almost as green as someone fresh out of wrestling school

This match wasn't good and I can't fully blame Mercedes for that. Her crime was generating apathy from the crowd instead of interest. Britt's been in AEW for 5 years and hasn't improved at all in the ring. She's good on the mic but that's about it.

This Mercedes is living in a total fantasy world now. She obviously thinks she is bigger than the business. She was again publicly trashing WWE for not supporting women’s wrestling, unlike AEW, on the grounds that they never had three women’s matches on a WrestleMania on one night. Which is a factually incorrect statement anybody can look up in five minutes. And THIS was her idea of the ultimate in women’s wrestling?! This total embarrassment, that EVEN British AEW fans couldn’t pretend to be supporting, a comedy sketch show parody disguised as a wrestling match, and a really weird mixed tag which opened on the pre show, which doesn’t really qualify as a third women’s match anyway! Just terrible, all of it.

The verdict is in: Britt Baker is the pits. She is stank foot in the ring. Her work is bad, her effort is low. She really got lucky being the heel promo on TV while her leg was broken and the division was smaller. Mone hasnt been ideal in her move to AEW, but she looks like a grizzled vet and ring general next to Baker. Remember how Mone-Vacquer was a amazing match? Yea, that's because Mone can go when in their with a good worker. She cannot make chicken salad out of chicken**** though.
Corny has a real issue with women though, been a running theme.
Well in the vaquer match the overall sentiment was that vaquer ran circles around mone this is 2 strikes one more and mone could be exposed as a mid wrestler

Sasha vs bayley in nxt is still the best women’s match I’ve ever seen
Mark Henry a few days ago called out Britt for her match with Mercedes. He felt that she wasn't going all in in the match and felt like she was doing things in the ring to not make Mercedes look as good because Britt is like this is my division, I was the first person signed by aew etc. I like Britt, but too many things you hear about her behind the scenes. And it comes across like she thinks she is bigger than what she is. A lot of her matches seemed like she is off her timing on transitions or it seems like she can't keep up. She has improved since she started in aew. But to me, I feel it was more her in this match than Mercedes. Mercedes always has pretty solid matches most of the time. Sometimes your dance partner simply can't dance on your level. Or don't feel enthused to go all out.
The match was actually really good because of Britt.
The crowd shots of everyone going and coming back from the bathroom was pathetic videography from AEW.
SO I was watching ALL In with my Partner who only knows about Wrestling and AEW for the past couple of months. They've watched 2 PPVs.
This one they finally say. "It's a little hard to keep track of everything with so many Champions."
Also I popped for the Corgi's. It was down hill after that.

Everyone supported her when she quit WWE because of the tag team title situation with Naomi. But she forgot to realise that Women's tag titles didn't draw and was not TV and PPV worthy as it was just a participant trophy. She and Naomi left and thought they were big star but proved Vince right, despite getting short stint in TNA, Naomi stil doesn't connect with the main Roster audience as she doesn't have the personality or mic skills and as for Sasha Banks WWE hid her flaws and now without the good creative and producers behind she is getting exposed of her flaws.
