We need a letter from a German licensed doctor stating he or shes agreed to offer treatment and confirming we half made payment before German embassy will issue visa . Hello, yes it is necessary to receive your German medical license, regardless or your specialisation. Even in Radiology, you will have plenty of documentation to write in German, and colleagues to discuss with. All the best :)

I just have on question to know about the process of applying from the perspective of a medical student. Do you apply directly to the speciality that you are willing to specialize in or you do any previous mandatory intern year? For example in Dr. Daria’s case radiology or even surgery! Thank you again

Thanks very much.....this video clip strengthened me. I have a question please, if I want to specialize in general surgery, from day 1 signing of my contract can I start my residency program. I mean, is it possible that my contract can be a residency program in general surgery?
*Hi Chijoke,* Once you get your medical license you can specialize in whatever specialty you wish. Once you start your residency in an authorized hospital/clinic under the supervision of an authorized consultant, then you begin your residency program. So to answer your question, yes you can :)
