This anime really knew how to show the person that watches it's slowly coming to an end just with the last two openings. Like the first two openings actually sounded lighthearted While opening 3 already sounded kinda sad even if you don't know the translations. And opening 4 is literally called Bye Bye Yesterday, so I am pretty sure people take the hint on that one.
Yeah also like everyone’s (especially Nagisa‘s and Kayano‘s) voices got a little more I dunno mature? Serious? Maybe even sad? But yeah they sounded so lighthearted and a little childish in the first two and then just... you could feel how they wanted and didn’t want Koro-Sensei to die kinda...?
I love how Assassination's cast turned out. It's over 20 students. There's no way someone can keep track of all of them, yet somehow this anime made sure to make everyone memorable. There are of course some people who are icons of the show, like Nagisa, Kaede, Karma, KoroSensei and the teachers, but every other supporting character always fell into a trope or had an episode dedicated to them that made them easy to recognize. Take, for example, Okajima. Just because of his perverted demeanor was what made him easy to remember. Or Sugino, the baseball geek. He was one of the first people with an episode made for a specific character, which made him stick out more. Hell, it was small details in episodes that made characters memorable. Kimura, also known as Justice, was recognized slightly during the codenames episode. Or Okuda, being recognized as the chemistry girl because of the line of concoctions and poisons she gave to KoroSensei. This anime had that kind of charm, playing their cards correctly on which characters to focus on more or which characters they should use as a supporting character instead, still keeping them easy to notice. Overall, Assassination Classroom will have a special place in anyone's heart who watches it to the end.
Exactly my thoughts! Even though they cut out their character arcs from the manga, I still loved Maehara and Kataoka on my first watch because the anime made sure to give everyone enough spotlight even with those cuts made. Since it was one of the first anime I watched, I was surprised when other series rarely did this well with their ensemble, which makes me cherish it all the more.
I feel the same. I don't know why so many people hate this anime and call it childish. I can really relate to this anime as a recent graduate from my high school. I know it might get boring for adults at some point but overall its a rollercoaster of emotions. It makes us laugh, teaches lessons, reminds of our warm memories and lastly shows how we have to leave everything behind and how easily fun times get over. I love this anime a lot.

Bye Bye Yesterday is my favourite Assassination Classroom opening. I just love the way it represents the end on the show, and how everyone is moving on.
These are the only songs I’ve ever listened to that I cry to. When I even hear these songs I cry. I love this anime so so much. It’s my favourite of all time. It has such a solid and resolute ending that I’ve never felt in an anime before. I’m so glad it was one of the first I watched. I will never forget the impact Koro-sensei had on me.

I’ve watched this anime 5 times. I’ve even read the manga once. This is most certainly the only thing in the world that is guaranteed to bring tears to my eyes. I love this anime so so much. Even if I were to find an anime or manga I like better (which is already unlikely) it would never ever compare to the place in my heart AssClass holds. Thank you, Koro-sensei.
Matias Bianco I have watched plastic memories but not clannad. AssClass isn’t the only thing that makes me cry, it’s just the only thing that is *guaranteed* to make me cry every time I watch or read it. Plenty of things I cry at but for most things I don’t cry when rewatching.

These are the only songs I’ve ever listened to that I cry to. When I even hear these songs I cry. I love this anime so so much. It’s my favourite of all time. It has such a solid and resolute ending that I’ve never felt in an anime before. I’m so glad it was one of the first I watched. I will never forget the impact Koro-sensei had on me.

I’ve watched this anime 5 times. I’ve even read the manga once. This is most certainly the only thing in the world that is guaranteed to bring tears to my eyes. I love this anime so so much. Even if I were to find an anime or manga I like better (which is already unlikely) it would never ever compare to the place in my heart AssClass holds. Thank you, Koro-sensei.

Matias Bianco I have watched plastic memories but not clannad. AssClass isn’t the only thing that makes me cry, it’s just the only thing that is *guaranteed* to make me cry every time I watch or read it. Plenty of things I cry at but for most things I don’t cry when rewatching.

Edit: I just realised they’re koro sensai faces on their cheeks. Everybody has a koro sensai thing on them. Karma has one on his blazer(?) collar, nagisa and Kayano have it in their hair and Isogai and Maehara have it on their faces.
