    Its so lovely how gps field acres and fsa acres vary so much! If they ever redid the acres how they should be the amount of acres lost would be shocking

      We would gain some acres. We have one field that is 7 acres longer than it is claimed, although it is a 130 acre field to start. Dad and I argue about what acres to use all of the time...

    I think the June 29th squall had a lot to do with the gooseneck corn plants. Yields are your farms sound really respectable considering our growing season. You are doing things right! Nice video man

    The reason we run are heads so low is we run chopping head on are corn headers and we plant edible beans the next year on corn ground so it has to be chopped closer to ground

    When I was younger I moved across town too. My cat and dog disappeared. A week later my old neighbor called and told me my dog and cat were at my old home. Other neighbors said it was the cat leading the dog. Now when I move I keep them in the house until they get used to their new home.

      Our cat had plenty of time to adjust to the new house... some people don't like change I guess! I've heard numerous stories like that!

    Lock'n Lube makes a short 90 adapter that we use often. You're right, along with a cordless grease gun, handiest thing on the farm in preventive maintenance.

    I have heard, but never witnessed, if feeder house chain gets off a link or 2 you can reverse it and sometimes it will straighten itself out.

    • @aTrippyFarmer
      @aTrippyFarmer  Год назад

      Wow that would be easy. It happens usually once every year or two. We keep all of the chains properly adjusted throughout the season.

    Andy , with the use motars and augars for transfering the harvest you are eliminating the porters ( manual laibour ) which is a good thing

    Hey Andy, if you don't use the Bin Shivvers System anymore, is there any value in keeping it around? Seems like it only makes it harder to get the auger setup.
