Welllll...part of me is happy the announcement wasn't a 12-voice Polybrute (having just purchased the initial, 6-voice version 2 weeks ago), and there's no denying it sounds great, but I have to say the interface doesn't exactly grab me and shake me up. That little round display is surely smaller than it needs to be, and there's a LOT of unused real estate left of that little round display.
Oh well. Again, it does sound amazing, and who could complain about being able to play Pigments patches quite easily live, eh?

Hey guys, what are you on about no sliders on this keyboard...
I've got the minifreak, korg wavestate and an older Yamaha keyboard and none of these has sliders...
Though I also use the minilab 3 which has sliders apart from knobs, but its a midi keyboard.
Though I also agree that the price tag seems a bit steep, same as the remake of the great korg wavestate to wavestate se.
For this price range I would have at least expected some gb of New presets and not the same analog lab pro repeat .
It was done with the minifreak that already came with New presets , plus more presets have been added with the upgrade.

I've spent a lot of money buying Arturia products. I love Arturia. I've even missed some kind of workstation with the great Arturia software built-in (without a permanent dependence on a computer). But I'm joining to this crowd: I'd like a much bigger (touch) screen, many more knobs, faders (the last two better on the left)... and even an easy drum track with variety of patterns.
Too many things, I know; but I'll dream with them, because l see them possible now, with this new line of keyboards. Of course, there should be a version with 73 or 88 weighted keys. I'm optimistic, but it will take time. Go for it, Arturia!

Main question: how fast will it brick with a firmware update? My experince with MiniFreak tells me that I have to buy 2-3 units upfront because they gonna brick like walls and I have nothing else to do except for installing your damn firmware updates over and over and over again till this piece of crap either start to work or breaks whatsoever

Love Arturia products, but this one is a miss. There’s nothing wow about it, although it is a starting point. Clone Nord Stage, or add ability to preload Decent Sampler libraries to the keyboard, eliminate laptop on the stage, then we can talk.

$2,000 for 61 keys, itty bitty screen, no mpe, sliders, wireless connection (accurate Bluetooth without being tethered to usb-c cable) or touch screen? Nah, I’m good.

Couldn't have said it better. I seriously cant fathom who all these companies are making these keyboards for. Ni, arturia, korg etc. I've been waiting for like two years for someone to release something even close to what your list has at normal price point and that isn't a full fledged synth. Hope that changes soon.

Also, why not more knobs, especially on that huge empty left side of the panel? I mean what’s the point of having all these great soft synths inside if you can only tweak a handful of parameters?

Not really. You can edit all parameters without connecting to a computer with Kronos. This you have a VERY limited UI and no ability to adjust parameters beyond what they let you control.

You could literally get a Keylab 88 and M1 MacBook Air for less, plus have way more diversity when it comes to DAWs, plugins, and control of parameters, it’s a digital modeling keyboard with no workstation/“Dawless” recording elements. For a company that makes extremely dope midi controllers and analog synths such as the Polybrute and Matrixbrute, it’s really pathetic they’re selling a digital hardware version of their Arturia V Collection and Pigments installed into a limited software capable keyboard that will be outdated easily within the next year or two. Arturia and Akai are seriously getting ridiculous in their gimmicky products. It should be illegal to charge so much for so little. Half the price goes into that small knob with little versatile control. Music companies are getting so cheap, greedy, and selfish. Makes me sick.

Love the product, but not the design. And the cold white with ice blue lights does not appeal. The wobbly round screen is absurd. How disappointing as I have longed for a standalone Analog Lab for years.

Arturia has done what all the competitors could not...deliver a single board computer, running a tweaked version of a Linux solution, that can handle 90% of what their software has to offer. Akai, NI and Ableton have all fallen short on this front. I personally will wait for the next revision of this Arturia device. I do not foresee Arturia trying to release (re-release) the same hardware with a few "neat buttons" added onto its platform (like Akai), but instead, making a work station version of this system. After Arturia sorts out the version 1 firmware, they're bound to release an updated hardware version of this.
But don't hold back on buying this unit. A USB MIDI controller should fill in the gaps that some of the synth-review community complain about (faders and knobs via the Novation Launch Control, perhaps?)).
I still have my MPC Live V1 and would never "upgrade". Akai has been selling you the same SBC with a different control surface for over 5 years now. NI does not support the +. Ableton...well...yet to be seen. Arturia has a reputation of "staying the coarse". I can not wait to see what they do with this platform. I might eat my words and buy the V1 anyway...I own all the software. Arturia rules!
