Nobody changed the Sabbath but Christians are not required by God to keep a Sabbath, as they are free in Christ from the law1. However, they are still meant to honor God as holy and abide in Christ. While Christians are free to observe the Sabbath if they choose, it does not make them any closer to God, and they should not judge others who do not observe such customs. The Adventists often use Christ as a justification for their pretended Sabbath keeping. They love to say, "Christ was a Sabbath keeper, He is our example" . It is not because they truly care about being Jewish as Christ was Jewish, because if they did, they would keep all the annual feasts, circumcision, Passover and go to the Jewish Temple on Saturday. But, they only use or rather abuse Christ to justify their heresy of preaching that Gentiles who believe in Christ must first become Jewish before they can be Christians. All of which was condemned in the first council of the Catholic Church in Acts 15. It's a very low and dishonest tactic totally condemned by all the Jewish Apostles and bishops of the Church and certified by the Holy Spirit Himself. To make matters worse, they do the same with the 10 commandments, which they don't keep by SAY they do, or even the Sabbath themselves. This is all big show of trying to pretend to be Jewish so as to appear holier than thou in the flesh. That's why you can go to any of their RUclips channels and see them using all kinds of Jewish vernacular to appear Jewish rather than Christian. "Sabbat Shalom" , "YAH", "Yashua" "YHWH"..ETC. It's all fake Jewishness thinking to impress others and that would make them appear holier than thou. Christ and the Apostles just hate that kind of fakery and pretense. It has no place in Christianity. Like the unbelieving Jews, these same people wouldn't be caught dead making the sign of the cross in public or private!* They don't glory in the cross, they glory in pretending to be outwardly Jewish. Because that is where their heart is, not in Christ Jesus.
