Dear Terry, I'm Liliane van Heteren from the south of Holland. I just started to learn PE design 11. How glad I am, that I found your lessons. It's fantastic. What a work you put in this, making these tutorials for us. Thank you very much for making this lessons en sharing it with all of us. With lots of respect, Liliane from Holland.
Susan Fiondella - in the case of the example I showed in this video, the flower was completely within the rectangle. To use hole sewing, the object on top must be entirely within the object on the bottom. To use overlap, think of placing the flower on the edge of the rectangle but overhanging a bit. Removing the overlap would remove the portion covering the edge of the rectangle. I will film a quick video to show you. Thanks for the question.

Thank you for explaining PE Design 11!
Great video. What is the difference between creat hole sewing and remove overlap and why would you use one instead of the other. Thank you.

How can you cut / remove fonts from a region shape? Also if you have three shapes on top of each can you remove or join all togather?
John Longhofer - I will have to test this on the software. I know you can do this in other software like BES4. I will test it out and get back to you.
