HOW TO Delete the Black Alpha from a Video (After Effects Tutorial)

I had trouble deleting the black (alpha) from a video, normally I use shift channels but it wasn't working for some reason. Extract and Key Cleaner did the trick, check out this after effects tutorial where I show you how to get rid of a stubborn black alpha layer. This is how you key out the black leaving your image. The black/alpha part was baked into the royalty free video. Hopefully this helps you composite your shot in ae.

This was the most helpful way in my situation. I added a Hue/Saturation at the end and it brought back some of the details that got lost.
