Rain Day In The Bunkie - Baking, New Car, Coffee and a few Log Cabin Updates

HI friends!
The rainy day couldn't dampen our spirits this week.
We heard the thunder rolling in across the lake, packed up a snack and headed down to the bunkie. We snacked and watched the rain pelt the water on the lake. The thunder shook the bunkie a few times and there were some good flashes of lightening. We loved every minute in our lil oasis on the lake. If you have been watching our vlogs for a while you may have seen that we lived in the bunkie while we clean every log in our log cabin that was covered in mould. So this spot means a lot to us. It was our comfortable lil space when we were living in hell for a while.
Baking in the rain is also a favourite of mine. I'll link the recipe for the cookies I made down below. You really need to try them!!! Soft and gooey!!! Yummy!!!

I love that lake you guys are on! and that cute BUNKIE never heard of that before! but I want one!!!! I have not seen the other two female N.S. channels on my feed. DARN IT. I think they live on that lake!!!! ANYHOOS, love seeing the doggies esp. that widdle Nixon. He is so stinkin cute. I am partial to widdle guys. Fitz has way too much energy for this ole gal. To me the bunkie is a "she shed" with a better view!!
Fitz is high energy and Nixon is a sassy old man! We love em both!!

Just watching while I drink my morning coffee. The smell in your car, look to get a enzyme spray! My hubby is a long time car guy. He currently isn't here but he'd know a brand I do not but I do know a enzyme spray will help breakdown/get rid of the smell. It's what car dealerships use.
I commented before finishing the vlog I now see you found where the smell was coming from...

Do you have a basement? Is there any cause for concern in stormy weather, the river could end up in your living room? 😔🫣🤔

We have a crawl space.
The lake would really have to flood for it to get to the house....however the crawl space is always damp and the rain always finds it's way in.....if we could solve the dampness in the basement it would solve a good chunk of our issues.
