OMG I miss tv sitcoms like this, that actually talked about realistic things in family's lives, shows like this needs to come back ASAP

Christina Vidal's first big role was in the 80's movie, "Life with Mikey" starring Micheal J. Fox. She was the talented little girl who the talent agent mentors and befriends.
Man that scene about the shoe store reminded me of the scene from Selena where she was had a snobby sales associate diss her in the mall.
She should have at least played it off by not SHOWING her parents those shoes lol. But $200 for those shoes? Totally not worth it. She should have been smart.

Have y'all noticed the veejay in the beginning is J the announcer from the original Figure It Out? Also the crowd at 7:11 that Christina Vidal is performing in front of is right outside the Nickelodeon Studios! You can see the slime geyser in the back and some of the building to the left :)
Christina Vidal kinda did get to be a star. I think she was or is a Mexican popstar. She had a cameo on this movie "Chasing Papi" where she was actually a singer at a festival with Shelia E.
The way that store associate was being rude and snotty to Taina and her friend reminded me of that scene in the movie Selena where Jennifer Lopez (as Selena) was going to buy a dress with her cousin and the store associate told them they couldn’t afford what was in the store.

I think this show aired in 2001. I'm not sure, but it only had 15 episodes. It should've went longer! I absolutely love Christina Vidal, Khaliah Adams, and Christopher Knowings. They seem like me and my friends lol. Does anyone know the name of the episode with the lines "Move Tai' Move!" ? I haven't watched this whole episode, could this be it?
