Was hoping that people will understand that this is crazy talk. Hope isn’t a demon, yes faith is only real when action follows it, and you can’t have faith without hope.

😊 He's so calm. Seems really at peace with his place in the journey of life. It's definitely positive that he got away from thinking it's okay to kill for those beliefs.
Faith is an ingredent and an action. That can move you to take actions towards the thing you may be hoping for. You can't just sit in one place and wait for your hopes to drop from the sky. Humans have hope as a basic ingredient of our lives. It's a motivator.
It is unfortunate that as children we are subject to the grown-ups around us. Some good, some bad, some smart, some wise, some who may have never questioned what they were taught but just pass it on to their kids.
It takes trial and error to get to a personal level with life that is peaceful.
If you can keep in mind that making assumptions about others is a two-way thing, then it goes along way towards not taking things personally.
Again, assumptions about others and taking things personally are things we as humans do very easily.
So we must do our best to get as much information from what we have around us. Then, weigh that information for truth. Not the truth we might want, but the truth that life is providing.
    Peace is good!

The Savior is Jesus. We can’t be saviors to ourselves.

What is wrong with hope? Especially offering this concept to someone who is terminally ill wanting a breakthrough in cancer treatment to extend their life? Anything is possible and medicine is constantly evolving. I hoped one day that Korea would stop slaughtering dogs and after many years it finally happened a couple of weeks ago. Without hope there is no aspiration, motivation, dreaming or wanting to move forward. I just might as well give up without hope.

Unfortunately faith is hope. in order to have faith you don't have the answer otherwise it would be called knowledge or certainty to have hope is to strive to what you want or to wish it comes your way in some form or a another faith is is the complete trust in some one or something with limited knowledge of what it is you put faith in. Like I said one is a kin to the other
