Having a cabinet that changes with your storage needs and grows with you is a plus and that's what I aimed for with this project. The adjustable dividers can be easily moved to adjust the size of different cubbies. Your can also store items on the bottom shelf and on top of the cabinet.

Great design and the adjustability will definitely make this useful overtime too as things change!

If you want to, you should build a variant of this and post it on your channel as well. I am currently busy with the same storage unit but in a 1meter x 1meter square form. It has a horizontal centered shelf and the dividers slide in top and bottom. Because my dust collection is almost non-existent at this time, I have a fold down 1mx1m panel/door to which I am going to attach the legs. Obviously the legs swivel at the top and are connected close to the bottom. The legs sit inside and flush with the panel in its closed position because I use two 1x1 panels with wood frame support in between. So I just open the panel and swing out the legs. It gives me a workspace near all my stored tools and keeps a lot of fine dust from settling in the storage compartments.
Edit: My vertical slide-ins will have 2 to 3 slots cut in offset for horizonal slide-ins to make compartments above each tool for their accessories.

Good catch seeing the top grooves wern't lining up with the bottom grooves. Most times the unit would have been mounted to the wall before being noticed😭

Haha I caught it last minute but they weren't too far off. It probably would've worked just fine either way

@@JTWoodworks a good take away though to be mindful of assemblies 🍻

Did you consider French cleats to help with handling mounting it to the wall?

I thought about it but I didn't want it hanging away from the wall and sticking out further than it needs too
