    A woman with tattoos doesn't have the authority to speak on this matters

    You mean it’s borne out, not “beared out,” but yes, mirror neurons are part of basic mammalian brain anatomy and physiology, more or less, depending upon the species, and are partly responsible for our ability to “feel together” (which is sympathy) and to understand the feelings of another, while maintaining a healthy distance, which is empathy. Both are important and necessary. The two are often confused and misused, I haven’t read Stein’s work so can’t offer an opinion, but there’s an important distinction there that a lot of people miss.

    How do tattoos bring us closer to Christ? Is it the self-harm we inflict on our body? Is it the attention we get from showing them off?

    It is not possible to be a "girlboss" and follow the word of God at the same time. True Christianity requires women to be submissive to their husbands, AKA not the boss. (Ephesians 5:23) Even if a woman is a nun, they cannot have any position of authority over men in the church, again AKA not the boss. (1 Timothy 2:12)

      Man is the authority no question, but for a man to feel the need to enforce that everytime seems to come from a place of insecurity rather than true authority. The way God sees it, authority = service. Everytime a man brings up "who's the boss," the entitlement jumps out. There seems to be more of an attachment to power itself than the responsibility it entails. Seems to be that the problem of gender politics is that authority is seen as a right to be attained for oneself rather than a responsibility. That's why we have men being threatened by the loss of power just by the very mention of "girlboss." A man who sees their authority not as a right to be enjoyed but a responsibility to give oneself wouldn't be so obsessed with commanding women to submission.

      @@thesilenttreatment6837 unfortunately in the world we live in that has been taken over by feminism, man's authority to lead his family is all but lost knowledge. Most of the guys I come across (myself included) have been raised being told 'everything is 50-50' or 'the wife is the boss' or 'happy wife happy life'. In essence, I find myself coming across submissive men most of the time. So part of what I see as my ministry is reminding men (or many times telling them for the first time) that they are to be the head of their wives in all things. Unfortunately, no one teaches this to men anymore. Not even in church is this taught. I have not ever even heard these passages read as readings during mass. So in a feminized world filled with a bunch of feminized guys and feminized priests teaching the wrong thing I take it upon myself to remind guys that now, more than ever, we need to man up and take and exercise our god given authority. And if some guys feel like Im insecure or beating them over the head with the truth, I don't care, most guys nowadays need it IMO. Im just trying to share something that has helped me realize my mission in life as a soon to be patriarch. (Getting married in a couple months :) and excited to start leading my family) thanks for the feedback though

      @Historian212 Год назад +1

      @@practical_precision_shootersPft, good luck with that, with that attitude. Getting married and having kids doesn’t make you a patriarch, that’s a multi-generational thing, and a title of respect that has to be earned. Authority that has to be insisted upon isn’t authority; it’s domination. The most effective leader is one who serves, not one who has to make a big deal about it. And taking instructions from the Bible without accounting for the fact of 2000 years of change is a lost cause. 2000 years ago everybody accepted the “institution” of slavery. It’s right there in Paul’s letters. You support that, too? 🙄
      Good luck with your marriage, but as the old song says, “You better think.”

The gate is narrow, kill ourselves and take the cross are the key, and on that females have a different vocation from male's, their body and theyre spirit have a difference meaning, it's not a case that they could create another human being and sacrifice themselves in doing that, years from their life. The modern man it's so prideful that don't want understood that, but be sure that a prideful woman is not a good thing In the eyes of God, but on the opposite a woman like Mary, is the greatest creature inside the whole creation. A man away from God thinks That be submitted in silence to God and others, and lives in purity or without nothing is a wrong things, but the man the lives in Christ spirit it's outside from the spirit of this world, he don't follow idols and rejoices only, in God alone.
