It hasn't. They made a mashup of a Rise version of Velkhana's normal theme and her Arch Temper theme. Til just played the original in this video.

Mis-timing my dodge rolls with evasion+1 gives me real appreciation of just how good your timing is with those guard points. It's incredible
Guard point is actually very easy to timed compared to rolling
Fyi you have about 1-1.5 second of guard timing compared to 0.1 of rolling
Don’t feel bad about mistiming dodges. By default the game gives you like 2 i frames so evade 1 will only give you about .2 seconds margin of error
Evade window level 1 or level 2 even is not enough. You need evasion level 3 for any meaningful ability to roll through attacks, and some attacks have lingering hitboxes. Guard points in this game seem a little less forgiving than in Iceborne but they’re still fairly easy to do, and counter peak performance is just automatic guard point with no knock back and no timing required unless you’re using offensive guard

This makes me wish I was able to get into Rise Charge Blade. It carried me throught World and the story of Iceborne, so it's disappointing that I can't seem to get the hang of it in Rise. It doesn't seem like much has changed.

I'm new to this game, and really like to learn the way of CB.
Dont believe so it take a lot of practice and knowledge of the weapon to do this without micro adjusting the right position. Til's a monster hunter veteran so he can execute it just by having a rough estimate. My tip is to get comfortable in the training room

Yes you can choose between guard morph or quick morph.
is Velkhana's size bigger? I don't remember Velkhana to be this big
Every monster you fight will not be the same size, some bigger some just smaller. You can clearly see this in the quest that requires you to hunt 2 of the same monster and sometimes they're like giants and a kid when they run to each other.
If you want more information just search crown monsters
It’s a shame people don’t use savage axe in this game, I feel like they ruined savage axe. People used it a lot more in Iceborne
how do you charge your sword instantly after cpp?
im tryna replicate this build but i cant seem to craft chaotic armor even tho ive killed chaotic gore magala many times, any reason as to why i dont have the armor?

Maybe it's because of your gender, it can be named nephilim or simply chaotic, look at wich of them asks chaotic pieces

Yes it is. I wasn't gonna use it but the update for consoles was the one right before sunbreak so it is solid compared to when rise first launched

Well, the size of a monster varies from hunt to hunt, but yeah Velkhana does look huge here
I do miss the day when the game is giving us very limited movesets to use.
