So happy I found this video. I love how you turned the bag. Not too long after starting the bag, I realized that due to the thickness of my vinyl, I would probably have to do a drop in lining, not my favorite. When I saw how you did it, I knew that method was for me too. I love learning new techniques. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

At the 10.05 mark, it looks like you are placing a seam guide to the right of your needle? is this available elsewhere?
It is a magnetic seam guide :) I believe you can get them pretty much any hardware or quilt shop. Mine was from fabricland

Serial bagmakers! I’d in the states Sew Yours has the same type hardware I used too! I also believe in Canada you can get it at Bringeberry too!!
Hi thank you for your video. I wondered if you could help me please? When you sew in the zips do you measure the seam allowance from the teeth or the edge of the tape? My zips always look really wide.
