I absolutely adore Tayari for stopping D’Jeeco here. Jabali wasn’t doing anything to warrant that. It brought back strong memories of when I would have to rescue my young son from his stepdad’s discipline. I could so relate to Tayari here and wow, she really loves and cares about her little boy. 💞💞💞

He would never have hurt him. Maybe he was just sensing Jabali was getting too crazy and was worried he was going to hurt Ringo, who is smaller than him. But the is just how silverbacks discipline. I had a foster cat with a kitten and she would sometimes do the same thing to the kitten when she got too crazy and wouldn't stop pouncing on her, hold her down until she squealed for mercy. But she never hurt her.
I was a little worried about tayari's mothering skills at first....it seems as though iriki kept jabali more than she did.........but not anymore.....she is a good mama!
Same here, she just has a different style of mothering. And she either learned it or inherited it from her own mother Gyasi. If you look up videos of Gyasi with her kids Tayari and then Kiango, you see all the same “techniques!” 😂😳 (at Apenheul Zoo.)
Tayari was so gentle in the way she lifted D’jeeco’s head and took her son in her arms. She didn't scream at D’jeeco or make a fuss, just quietly took control. DJ was very good about accepting her admonition. I was truly impressed!❤

Sometimes it seems as if Ringo go is more like his Dad. Likes to sit quietly at times and just vibe with Daddy. And little Jab is a lot like his Mom. Very loving and charming, but a bit hyperactive and D'Jeeco feels he must suppress him more often to maintain control and to calm him down. Ringo got a bit worried there, so I think D'Jeeco was extra dominating, albeit mildly and not just playing. Or, it could be that because Ringo is younger he avoids some of the yet to come disciplining. I hope D'Jeeco isn't playing favourites. Dear little Jab. 💗

Yes as he is like his.mom..a big attention seeker.He hates when DJ pays Ringo some one.on one.In one video DJ is rolling Ringo and jabali.is sitting watching just dad and Ringo playing..Then jabali stands up.and slammed the sack he was holding to the ground and while his eyes were still on dad and brother he stormed off..It was easy to.pick.up Jabalis jealous energy and these two will want to.prove their ""I am a big strong Gorilla son"" to DJ and that will be where happy playing might become little fights that DJ has to break up.But anything like that will come from buff head Jabali as he is all me me and now now action etc..Ringo.though uses his head and you can even see him thinking and he has a face that shows his intellegence.I don"t know what is in Jabalis big head..I.know he is 6 months older than Ringo but his head is huge..I know I.will not be popular saying this but Ringo.is way.prettier than Jabali..with his thoughtful defined facial features intellegence written all over it.

I am surprised to see Ringos mom in the cave with DJ as it is alway's Jabalis mom. She seems very good at keeping Ringos mom away from ""her gorilla man""every chance she gets.I see how.she sits in front of DJ in the enterance of that cave.Also.in a video recently she ran over and DJ was standind on 2 legs and she gave him a full frontal.hug but was looking behind her as she did this.I though that Ringos mom had to have being on her way over to that cave and Dj..Her way of blocking access and crafty as DJ has no idea and probably thinks she is just being cuddly..Also.Jabali.is following her example as u saw dad playing with Ringo rolling him and just him and jabali.was.watching.for nearly the whole video and looked not happy..next minute he stood up and slammed the sack he had to the ground and stormed off..Yeah Jabali is alway's looking at DJ to see if he saw him jump.or whatever and i think as those two sons get older there will be progressively more challenging wrestling between these two male infants and much jealousy when DJ pays attention to one and not the other at the same time...
pity we don't get to hear what is happening. lots of communication cues are lost without the sounds of grunts, cries, and rumbles. Let's face it, jabali is at the age where he is quite precocious. I wonder if his rough play with ringo caused an outcry from the baby brother, which may be why dad disciplined the older boy. there's another vid where jabali makes ringo cry out, and dad comes running to break them up. funny stuff to watch, but that boy knows when he's in trouble with dad. I adore this family and hope to see these boys get their own troupes. mom is not panicked in the least. she just nudges dad to say, that's enough. but does not coddle or pamper jabali. I feel like I witnessed my entire family dynamic with my siblings in this episode, I was genuinely scared for the little one. So glad the mom came in and rescued him. I’ve only seen silver backs play with their kids so not sure what happened here but he was getting hassled by two.

Dear little Jabali was in pain by his dad biting him hard, his little face was said Tayari gently moves his face away and shows care for her baby. I am surprised to see D'Jeeco being hard on his son. most times he allows them to play on top of his head.
I am surprised to see Ringos mom in the cave with DJ as it is alway's Jabalis mom. She seems very good at keeping Ringos mom away from ""her gorilla man""every chance she gets.I see how.she sits in front of DJ in the enterance of that cave.Also.in a video recently she ran over and DJ was standind on 2 legs and she gave him a full frontal.hug but was looking behind her as she did this.I though that Ringos mom had to have being on her way over to that cave and Dj..Her way of blocking access and crafty as DJ has no idea and probably thinks she is just being cuddly..Also.Jabali.is following her example as u saw dad playing with Ringo rolling him and just him and jabali.was.watching.for nearly the whole video and looked not happy..next minute he stood up and slammed the sack he had to the ground and stormed off..Yeah Jabali is alway's looking at DJ to see if he saw him jump.or whatever and i think as those two sons get older there will be progressively more challenging wrestling between these two male infants and much jealousy when DJ pays attention to one and not the other at the same time...

pity we don't get to hear what is happening. lots of communication cues are lost without the sounds of grunts, cries, and rumbles. Let's face it, jabali is at the age where he is quite precocious. I wonder if his rough play with ringo caused an outcry from the baby brother, which may be why dad disciplined the older boy. there's another vid where jabali makes ringo cry out, and dad comes running to break them up. funny stuff to watch, but that boy knows when he's in trouble with dad. I adore this family and hope to see these boys get their own troupes. mom is not panicked in the least. she just nudges dad to say, that's enough. but does not coddle or pamper jabali. I so love this family!!

I feel like I witnessed my entire family dynamic with my siblings in this episode, I was genuinely scared for the little one. So glad the mom came in and rescued him. I’ve only seen silver backs play with their kids so not sure what happened here but he was getting hassled by two.
Love how D’jeeco scolds his son without hurting him except maybe his pride a little bit . Then Ringo takes advantage of daddy’s strength , then runs around his dad to sneak a peak underneath. N Tayari is like “ I got ur dad !” N just lays down , spreads her legs 😳n takes his attention off her son n the situation! Lmao

I think I read before, that if the actual sound from the video is played, we would just hear background noises, people at the zoo talking, etc. I just mute the sound and enjoy the wonderful interactions between this gorilla family.

Jeeco is an ass, he seems to always hurt Jaba but never Ringo, what's up with that. Lucky Jaba has a fearless Mama to protect him and go to war where her son is concerned.
DJ can get nasty at times..It is like he forgets himself.
Djeeco was being mean and displaying dominance. I hate seeing sliverbacks do that.
