  • There is no debating that this vacuum canister works like a charm in keeping your coffee fresher for longer. However, I was interested to see when the difference really started to show, in simple terms, when was it WORTH investing in a canister like this. In short it looked like you could taste the difference after just 2 weeks of storage - where bagged coffee started to taste stale, the canister coffee tasted like it was fresh from the roaster.

Not just of your storing for more than two weeks but if you've received slightly less than perfect Coffee but you found the sweet spot in that 7 to 14 day waiting period you are using this so that it maintains the freshness meaning you don't have to continuously calibrate and redial in your grind size to compensate for the CO2 loss from the beans natural ageing process… Not only is it just for storing beans more than two weeks it's keeping the sweet spot suspended meaning that over a week of brewing your coffee you aren't noticeably noticing a decline or degrading in the bean this also allows you to find tune the amount of compensation in Your instruments very accurately without having to redo it all over again the next morning the slowing down of the ageing process means that you are able to more consistently hit the sweet spot every time rather than wasting coffees stabbing in the dark trying to calibrate

Let's be honest… No one is out here storing roasted beans for months and months and months waiting for them to ripen you grab a bean from your local Roastery or the supermarket you calibrate your machines to harness the best out of that been at that particular roast and at that particular degradation of its lifespan these containers are crucial if you are wanting to help redefine and calibrate your instruments it's not really about preserving beans for two weeks rather than it is more about preserving and suspending its current state so that you can slow down the process allowing your testing calibration to be more fine tuned

I also think this is not a review at all. You are just showcasing it. Use the product at least for a few months then come back and tell people pros and cons and the fact it does not fit for purpose

The product is rubbish. I purchased 3 canisters and used them for almost 2 years. The issue is that most times, after 3 or 4 days the canister looses suction completely. Dont waste your money

That's why they had best results with opening it daily, because they were re-sealing it daily too.

@@BrainchildDnB But you also want to be able spare coffee beans for 2 o 4 days. If this is the case, why would you open the canister daily??? it defeats the purpose.
