There are at least three different raptures in Revelations that's why pre post mid-tribulation believer all seem to be able to support their belief. However, by precedent and based on several other scriptures God will not judge the righteous with the wicked. The 'elects' should not be necessarily be interpreted as Christians because in Revelations we are told of 144,000 Jews being chosen for example.
