This is a prime example of what could happen when you greatly underestimate someone who you know nothing about. But by the time the shock/surprise comes, it could be too late. Way too many people look at a person and "assume" things.
My dad used to own a business doing handicapped conversions to vehicles. I met 2 lovely older Italian men. I sat and talked with them. When they were leaving they told me that they loved my company and if anyone gave me a hard to let them know. Never took them up on the offer but this is why I am so respectful to older sharp dressed men.
My theory is the old man is only in the nursing home bc he’s in hiding, pretending to be someone else who is not able-bodied. All the more reason not to underestimate someone.
I'm Italian and I'm on an American platform watching a Dutch horror movie about an Italian man thanks to the subtitles in English 😂❤ This was nice and the music choice excellent! For constructive criticism purposes, I'd say that you could have done better with the Italian parts phrasing... but the "Cornuto!" was totally on point! Fun fact: Cornuto means literally "someone with horns on their head" and it can be used as metaphor to address someone who has been cheated on by their partner (in a negative or ironic way) , or simply as an insult.
Actually a good one even tho it doesnt make much sense... the man isnt able to wash himself... not even able to turn off the hot water but hes able to carry liters and liters of acid-liquid and cut thru flesh and bones 😅😅😅 but still i liked this espisode... SALVATORE ❤
Seems Salvatore was from the old school on how to treat people that treat others like dirt . Just as in Dracula one should learn not to drink on the job & Mr.s Renfield got off much better than this sad case of a caregiver. Great ending as it would seem he got his old flame back as that gal looks like the one in the photo at the start of the short. How he managed that by doing away with the sad sack i don't know. Also he seemed to me he was Italian more than Dutch ,maybe from experience he learned to speak & understand it. Hats off to Mr. Salvatore for keeping the old way alive when you have no other choices.

Only thing, wouldn't the bathtub melt? I thought it wasn't a good idea to melt someone in the bath. Awesome movie, just intrusive thoughts, "Hey thats not how u melt a body! You need a barrel!"😂
Not if you dilute or mix it with other chemicals which looks like what he did , get it over with & clean up you should be fine & he was just that. Remember he must at some point have been a hit man or in the mob as he knew just what to do to rid himself of that fool. Respect your elders & you won't end up feeling all cut up over your disrespect. For a change we have a happy ending to a horror tale.

What a beautifully composed film. Without giving anything away, using the fish tank as a kind of way to pull everything together is just phenomenal.
