best hotel to stay is the hermosa on metropole by vons only 100 a night no minumum. the sub tour is great too as well as the jeep tour, where you will see bison

I have said for years! If you want a HAWAIIAN VACATION without the Hawaiian vacation cost, go 26 miles across the sea to Catalina Island!!! The island reminds me of Monaco with their palace and harbor like Mt. Ada and the Catalina harbor! So!! If you go back, go to the casino with Page pipe organ tour, bird park, Wrigley memorial, the bell tower and especially show video the tons of FAMOUS Catalina Island Pottery tiles EVERYWHERE on the island paying particular attention to the bird tiles along the way! Extremely rare art tiles that Wm. Wrigley and D.M. Renton's company made when they were residents there before Gladding McBean eventually bought the company out! And don't forget the very amazing zip line from way up high THROUGH THE TREES to way down low! I am still partial to being there FOR THE 4th of July when the greatest firework displays are shot off after sunset from the pier! And a myriad of yachts from around the world set off their own fireworks to add to the festivities! I always hike up to the bell tower, clear the weeds off of the cement water meter there to sit on and enjoy the view! Happy travels!!!

i got on the submarine one. i payed i think like $100 for me and my son's mom (my son was free) and i thought u was going to go like deep under water. you dont u are like 5 ft under water. u get a better experince snorkling then that "submarine" also u have to pay $6 to feed the fish. but i had a very nice captain that gave my son free (shots) to feed the fish. and my son loved it so cuz of that captain making my son smile and have a great time. i think u should get on it

Where to leave the luggage?
There are lockers available at the ferry dock for small bags.
If you have larger luggage, Avalon Blue Line Baggage can store it for you. It is also in the dock.

I just landed on Catalina Island. The flight took me only 18 minutes from Maxell Memorial Airport. I never even left my basement in Massachusetts. (Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020).

How did you get from the Catalina drop off to Hotel Atwater? Are there shuttles that take you to the hotel? Do you pay for the shuttles there? Or did you do the package deal with the ferry ride and hotel? So many questions but I want to go by myself I just need to know if there’s a shuttle lol
Was three hours enough time for the golf carts and to look around?
More than enough!! We came back before the 3 hours were up
2 hrs is good enough.
What do you need to go your ID or passport
If you are 21+ I suggest bringing your ID to rent the golf cart, but you do not need it to go into the island 😉
Are the $20 food vouchers a one time thing or do you get a voucher for every day you’re there?
