- Assassin's Creed Shadows is the official name for Assassins Creed Codename Red. Ubisoft will be releasing Official Trailer for AC Shadows which will go live on May 15th 9AM PT. We also have pricing information from a leaker who has given us further information about the 2 post launch dlc content and its pricing and plenty more DLC and base game prices and much more content information that players will get for assassins creed shadows gameplay. Now we need to solve a puzzle that ubisoft has handed over, So I will see you guys with another update on the all new AC Shadows gameplay information and more.

Shadow in Japanese is 影 (kage). It can also be used as a euphemism (albeit a bit of an archaic one) for shinobi (忍び - lit. 'one who sneaks'), considering they're meant to move in the _shadows,_ and all.
Recall that the game was stated verbatim to focus on the shinobi fantasy when it was revealed for the first time at Ubisoft Forward 2022. It's also going to be set just during the climax Sengoku Period, and this is one of the time period when the shinobi were known to be most active in.
It's also why Sekiro's subtitle is _Shadows Die Twice-_ because it's about a _shadow (shinobi)_ using his ability to resurrect.

I really hope the movement and animations are fluid. I don’t mean to compare but Ghost of Tsushima had some crazy fluid animations that flowed so well with its combat. They have to nail that aspect of the game or Shadows will be assassinate on arrival. Also, has Ubisoft learned nothing in the last 6 years? No one cares about a cinematic trailer, people want to see actually in game engine footage.
You are so right 😭 just make the animations fluid again or at least better than AC3.
Edit: I still love the cinematic trailers btw imo it’s basically a nostalgia thing they’ve been doing since the Ezio series so I don’t mind that.
I'm not expecting more than the previous rpg titles like Valhalla and Odyssey. They said it'll be rpg and it's Ubisoft so for me, it'd be like Valhalla, origins and Odyssey .... typical Ubisoft nature.

1:15 This street is alley near Tsutenkaku Tower in Osaka (you can see tower behind the hourglass). But the Fugu puffer fish sign, advertising for Zuboraya restaurant (known from the Yakuza game series) does not exist anymore!
Ubisoft is smart enough to lure their customers. For example AC Valhalla has Ragnar Lothbrok from the show on Netflix. I am 90% positive that it will have relation with the art of the ninja/samurai with Hanzo's clan. Not like Shirai Riu but a foundation of it

Too many people expecting this to be like, or on par with Ghost...not gonna happen. That game was a different beast altogether. I'll wait for GOS 2 for those expectations. I do hope Shadows is good though. The combat especially.

I hate to say it, but same here. I used to be a big Assassin’s Creed fan. The fact that I had been waiting for a Japanese one since the beginning but can’t even be excited about it anymore says how far the company has fallen since then.
This and hexe is all I have hope for if neither one of these catches my eye I’m done. For good.

Great, so it's about three years when it's on sale for a price that is roughly in the area of what it's really worth and it's still going to be bugged af. Ubisoft is very consistent about this.

Doesn't Ezio at some point make a comment about liking milk and sugar in his coffee? Some folks have said he "invented" an early latte, lol. Maybe that's the fave food? Coffee with milk & sugar. I can't think of many instances where food comes up as implicitly named throughout the series.
Kassandra asks for lamb and rice during a side quest, and grape pudding - but they were for the character she was wooing or whatever, heh. They have that big dinner in the return to Sparta with family but I don't think any food was specifically named.
Nothing else comes to mind at the moment. I mean, the Apple of Eden? No one eats that but it's food!

This game producer lost me after ac3 you killed off the only thing that made the games assassins creed. After that you went from the og creeds to hack and slash rpg bullshit, the only game recently that even reminded me of the old games was ac mirage, and even then you tied in dumbass Greek mythology in with the main character. What happened to Minerva and the visions and shit, why did we go from that to Odin and Loki shit???? You completely derived from what made your games awesome.
