The weed/algae treatments from the lakeshore assoc. doesn't harm the fish, but they definitely impact the aquatic vegetation, weedlines, etc. The herbicides are supposed to target specific weeds, but they can level everything which makes it hard to find concentrated fish.

It’s the bass tournaments that kill the most bass. Studies show 33%-75% of bass caught in tournaments die within 48 hours after being released. I know it’s a large range and the topic needs more research, but bass tournaments are horrible for the bass. The kill rates are especially high on the bass that are pulled from deep using sonar.
Tough lake, fish that lake a lot, 80%-90% pike all day 😅👎🏽👎🏽, especially comes to fall time … there’s a few biggins in there though, but just gotta find them…🤞🏼🤞🏼

What they need to do is take out majority of the pike on some lake where the bass will populate pike is taking over
