I have had the experience that the raw ones are often stronger than the processed ones and I like both types so that I have different intensities as needed. The raw ones are also often cheaper.
I typically go for natural crystals even though tumbled crystals do tend to look better but I just love to see it in natural form without being tampered with too much but I do have have a heart rose quartz and an elephant howlite just cause of the significance
So tumbled stones still work?
I prefer raw crystals because its the least processed. I get that all crystals are processed in some way, wither tumbled to cut, but I feel it is more connected to earth and spirit that way. Thats just for me. I love the look of polished but i use polished for jewelry and decor.
But how uh use it?
Lovely, I've wondered about this sort of thing myself. I guess you have to really personalise things based on the energy of the stone and the issues the person needs help with.

I've got a mix of raw tumbled and wands
I have both Raw Rosequartz and a amall polished wand pendant
Can I wear hematite in right hand? Lapis lazuli, green avventurian, Turquoise, in left hand. Black turmaline and aquamarine and Amethest pendant. Is it okay
And don't forget that the tumbled ones are easier to carry in your bra ;D

I bought some gem stones but I think they’re polished I wanted to do a rose Quartz elixir water but I’m not sure if it’s toxic now since it’s polished
Place your stones next to a glass bowl with water in it... this way you wont have to worry about any toxins going into your water and it works just as well.
Tumbled crystals also work that means?
So sharp green garnet would be good if you were constipated?

Presila Lokhee thank you for watching! I don’t have too many “rules” because I feel that working with crystals should be a creative and intuitive process rather than one stifled by what “not” to do. I feel if your intuition is telling you to combine them both then you should. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

still don't understand how you can tell that the point is directional point crystal unless you just avoid perfectly chiseled one -- I'm confused ... does one point have to be pointed & the other more or less pointed -- how can you tell both side is naturally pointed. thanks
Honestly, it takes you working with it, playing around with it, attempting to move energy with it. The more you get to know the crystal, the more you are able to tell where the energy is moving from it and if it is natural or not.

I recently purchased my very first crystal (a raw Selenite chunk). It's square-shaped and measures about 4×4 in centimeters. I want to wrap it and wear it as a necklace but it's large. Can I cut/reshape it or will this tamper with the natural energy of the crystal?
J Sam my rule of thumb is to always use your intuition and make sure it feels right for you to do so. It won’t interfere with the energy depending on if you keep the shape or not.
