"Or for people who just like shiny ships" *slowly raises hand*
Any Orgs focused on taking control of a Bengal will need several of these Destroyers in their fleet composition. That seems like the primary use case.
If you ever tried the 40 man raids on world of warcraft you should have a pretty good idea of what it will take to get that thing organized and working
right? That's why I'm just going to do box missions with mine solo..
80 to fully crew is wild, that's a whole lot of citizens.
now I wait, and wait, and wait and wait and wait... and then maybe before I'm 65 I get one, and do box missions with it.
I'm hoping that npc hiring will be a robust tool, I want to see these large ships out in the verse.
I think several Polaris torp spamming on it could give it a bad day.
no!
:D
@@FloppyBurn Oh yes!
it could but I think not because anti missile turrets, you'll have to take those out first.
@@maxvonkrieger5043 they can be overwhelmed, sure they'll take out a few at once but if theres more than one polaris firing then thats alot of torps, and some are going to hit
We really need NPC crews
You seem like such genuine and passionate guy
Its going to be crazy managing them if they make it so the capitals stay in game even when logged out.
Which I hope they stick to as they said!
6225 hours space trucking in elite dangerous and listening to star citizen ships.
I can't wait to see the Javelin fully functional in game. But the time and effort it would take to get the amount of people to fully operate it would be a nightmare.
3 Endeavors! This ship really interests me so I hope you do a use case/review of that soon as well as I assume you'll be very invested in using it.
It will probably be a three hour video lol
Javelin's are just so freaking huge... I'm really looking forward to seeing them in-game but I can't imagine owning anything larger than my C2 and 600i. I know a number of the other Yacht Club members have them, so I'm sure I'll have a chance to fly on one, or even pilot one, but owning one seems insane.
Thanks God I finally can watch the billionaire ninjas videos ... thank you for decreased background high volume... Massive review... Title should be 5 times more durable than Idris... :D I didn't know it very "waow" thing
Love the vids, you'll hit 5k in no time.
I appreciate the support!
The Javelin is a warship. Lots of people responding to things, with a support fleet - It brings the guns, other ships bring utility. I could see this ship with a Starferer, Polaris, Hammerhead, and some form of cargo being all a group needs to tackle any PVE content at all... Of course that listed ship list is a massive crew requirement so uh, good luck fielding that many people!
Yup, not enough people to crew the ship. I do like shiny spaceships haha. I can’t wait to see these in games and in personal hangers.
I think the Polaris is already impossible to fly without an ORG to provide you with enough reliable crew, I can't even imagine myself gathering people enough for the Javelin. But, when we have some real ORG gameplay loops, this things will be an absolutely advantage to the orgs that have one.
The Polaris Minimum crew size is 6 so I think it will be ok with 8 of 9 people. Especially since we ran the Idris with 6 people. But we'll see what the engineering requirements are.
i just want that Drake Vulture!!!! i love your work dude
they will surely release the javelin when ai blades and npc crew will release so players will use it in a couple of guys with mostly the help of AI and npcs thats how its gonna be
thats how its intended to be
Yeah I hope it would be like that 🎉 though the wages for these crews would be a huge cost…
Unless the biggest orgs with over a thousand players are just flying these things around then I think we'll eventually see smaller orgs paying citizens in and/or out of their crew to join in and man whatever stations are missing
Crewing this ship would be a nightmare
so many unknowns, you have to wonder if CIG is just as confused on what they are goin to do with these ships as well :P
I don’t see owning a javelin, Perseus is kind of my max, but I would love to help crew one!
What to do know? Acquire a midsized village to crew it and your support fleet haha
You might want it one day. It might be streamers their fans flying these things.
I have no plans to get it, but if there was ever a server generated quest to be a crew on it with NPC and other players , I may do that. Something along the line of a temporary UEE enlistment to clean up a hostile star system.
I have to say your a GREAT MAN, generous and kind, thank you that you are light in the darkness Veros34 Ex-pat in Poland Anon DK Q.🎉🎉❤🎉🎉 If we were trully voyagers in the stars in another reality i would be glad and honored for you to be my Admiral.🎉🎉❤🎉🎉
Wow, thank you!
Battering ram, of course
First round of Javelin was 1800 when it first appeared in limited numbers.
Nice. I didnt know that! Do you have a source so I can post it!
@billionaireninjas yes. I bought one. It was like a lottery. Only 50 available so I refreshed a bunch of times and got it.
Solo Javlin!
box missions here...
It's saying the max crew for a Kraken is 10.
Jav and similar ships should be in game only IMO.
Ooof... I have to hope this video is relevant to a very small audience, but I'm sure there is the crowd that likes knowing what it's like to own a cruise ship...
I think ships like this were the more problematic sells but c'est la vie. Also, if the first reason that you don't have a Javelin isn't "the price" then RIP.
Is it available in some test server? I see it is still listed as "in concept"
No, the model is occasionally in the game during events. Usually Invictus and Idris related events.
While the Javelin is impressive, I don't think that CIG should sell any ship can can't be flown solo (or at max 5 ppl). This doesn't mean that more can be on board or help improve the performance. Ships like the Javelin should require being attached to an org with enough members (possible status/rep). If an individual owns the ship than an entire org can end overnight if just one person leaves. I have seen it with mmorpg's where the leader sells the guild hall and moves to another server.
If you've played EveOnline I feel it will be similar and maybe you could rent it to your org in the future.....I feel it will be a job to use that beast so org tools would be awsome.
Obviously for box delivery missions. And then you wont ever get off the planet cause its not able to fly in atmo 😂
I have a Perseus ccu, but still wondering if I should have just went Polaris. I went Perseus becaue of the expected ability to run it with a smaller crew. Either way I doubt I'll ever own a Javelin. I'm sure I'll crew it at least!
If you surrounded a Javelin with 40 Mantises could you make it go dark?
Nope you would need like 75 lol
Out of my price range. 😂
80 players is just far to many to try and get to run it. My opinion
CRUCIBLE owners are going to be Rich when these monster money sinks come out.
Luckily i don't hate to know what to do with javelin. Even winning big money on lotto i wouldn't buy javelin.
Thats the only scenario I would buy one... And mostly to loan it out to folks!
The Javelin is a completely impractical option for 99% of players. It’s an org ship and useless you want to do multiplayer constantly, it’s a waste of money. Also none of the capital ships are remotely rare: anybody can buy them a couple of times a year if you want to pay hard cash, so people would be wise to not pretend to themselves otherwise.
Really not a problem I’ll have to deal with. Even if I sold everything I own in my account I would be at $1350 so can that even buy that big ass ship? Then what? Yeah no thanks to that big ship.
Ships like the javellin shouldnt be bought. They should be earned thru corp play. And only the largest corps should be able to get and crew a ship of this size.
This things should be very rare in the verse
I think they will still be rare! Because people won't be able to crew them and people who can crew them will spend most of their time doing prep work to load it or unload it.
It will be rare, I am sure there are not that many people willing to pay 3k for a virtual ship.
...if you had a Javelin, what do you call it...?
"hangar queen" most likely
