Love seeing you obsess over those axes. Personally love hearing that both Alkaloid and Eternity's End are still on your mind (would be crestfallen if one of those went under). Sold job last month in Stuttgart btw.
like you're saying, the block heel on the yellow RG is not that bad, but i wonder why they didn't just go with the all-access neck joint (AANJ). are there people out that demand the block heel?
I absolutely love the RG 565 in blue! I'm saving up to get it, it's my dream guitar. I'm also a big fan of the new RG 460 and 470 they´re amazing! I'm a sucker for orange, Nebula, blue and pink or red from the RG 550 series. Ibanez might be a bit expensive, but it's built to last. I bought a used RG 320 FM with Liquifire and Crunch Lab and I'm over the moon with it. I need to replace the trem, but otherwise it's still a shred killer machine.
@@MajorDook1 because I'm more interested in keeping my options open for higher registered notes, the music I enjoy and/or need to play tends venture in that direction playing lead. I also like the overall feel of the AZ line, specially their 24 fret models, problem is that those models tend to be $1200+, and the AZ Essentials don't cut it for me. I Personally don't need or want a 9 string guitar for my intended and preferred application, 7s and 8s are more than enough, and for what I'd be looking for in the AZ 6 strings is just fine.
I played the MGFM10 Signature by Manuel Gardner Fernandes at the Guitar Summit. An amazing instrument. The guitar was set up perfectly and played very smoothly. It’s also extremely lightweight, looks unique, and is simply fun to play. Unfortunately, I don’t have the €1,350 to buy it. I’ve really fallen in love with this little beauty.
The imaginary Ibanez I'm waiting for is a new AZES model in the AZS shape (t-style, like the AZS2209 or Josh Smith). Sure the AZES31 is a hardtail, but why not just add another option to the catalog?
My first electric guitar was an Ibanez. Of couse I will be the only one with that 😅. For any circumstances I never bought an Ibanez again. I have two guitars from Ibanez I really want to have. The first one is the Ibanez RGDR4327 Prestige. Sometimes reduction is good and the reduced control features are fine for me. The reduction in stlye is awesome, too. If money doesn't matter I would ask Ibanez to change the bridge to an Evertune bridge and the pickups to Fishman. The other guitar would be also a prestige: Ibanez RG652AHMFX-RPB. I like the guitar as it is and won't change anything. Maybe a change to a matt varnish but this is no so important. From ne the newest lineup I would take the RGR52ET. Even if I don't like golden color so much. But this guitar seems to be just awesome.
I’m in my 40s and I would never own a guitar that did not have 24 frets unless it was something extra special and even then I probably would never play it 🤘🏼 shred never dies
its extremely lacklustre and borring its literally the same guitars every year, dude wherer are the icermans ? where are the xiphos? so many more otpions died just for borring ass rgs and az all arround the place people are screaming for a wes hauch iceman sig and they missed again. i love ibanez guitars but this is getting really stale now
Imagine you would have all the money in the world, which guitar of the newest Ibanez line up would you get? Let me know in the comments! :)
I'll get a Charvel.
the yellow reverse headstock is a no brainer if i had the money it would be my next purchase
I played them all - they are awesome. Especially that yellow one ;)
I LOVE that Ibanez realized that people adore the reversed headstock.

the yellow RG Genesis for sure. Would like to see their AZ line get a floyd/edge trem on it though.

Finally an AZ with 24 frets I can afford!
Up there on the 24 fret often are ya?
@MajorDook1 I like having options
@bigbugger7660 So then why are you interested in an AZ with two extra frets, and not 9 string?

@bigbugger7660 But the RGA622XH has 27 frets! That's a whole 5 more frets! Surely that should be your wet dream, right!?
I learned on an Ibanez RG 470 27yrs ago and now own 25 of them including 4 universes. My all time fav brand
The AZ standard series is awesome for the value. 550€ for : locking tuners, stainless steel frets , roasted maple neck.
A Green RG for me please ✌
My favorite is the sml721, Im biased for fanned fret/multiscale

I’ve never owned an Ibanez, but I really enjoy playing them, been meaning to buy one for the longest time

the 2020-2023 run of the 565 with color-matched acrylic inlays looked way better
I was ibanez jem and rg 550 lover unitil ... i discover musicman jp6 bfr and jp15
I have over 30 Ibanez models, and I love all of them
Those RG565Rs are gonna fly off the shelves. Me want.

Just for a second let’s imagine Ibanez made a xiphos with the same specs as that rg565r 😬 now that would be something…
RGR52ET will definitely buy. It's clear that model is a new successor of my very first Ibanez, RGT6EX. My only down is it's bolt-on : / .
AZ prestige tri fade burst black!
Wann bringen die endlich mal ne 7er JCustom mit vernünftigen Pickups??
Ok that AZS standard is too good for the money
Ich hätte gern eine Ibanez JSM 100!
