Sadly because of my left hand issues this cardigan is no further on than it was before. I keep trying to do a row or two when I can. I did manage to sew the buttons on the other day,
Thank you. I did enjoy making the Far point Topper although I could have done with making in a slightly thicker yarn as I am larger than the pattern turns out to be in James C Brett Marble chunky. Hopefully it will wash larger as it is all acrylic yarn.
Hi Jan! Your current cardigan is working up quite nicely!! Enjoyed thumbing through your books with you. Can’t wait to see what your next project will be!!💜
Thanks Diane. My projects have come to a bit of a halt due to my hand issues. I can only crochet for a small time each day. I don't know what to do with myself as I am so used to spending my evenings crafting.
I hope you can get your hand issue resolved soon!! Not sure what I’d do with myself, sitting without yarn in one hand and a hook in the other!!! Since watching you, I’ve seriously been looking into making garments. I’d love to be able to make cardigans like you!!!💜
I love your granny stitch cardigan. It looks amazing!! One of my Doris Chan books arrived this morning. Im hoping the other book arrives tomorrow as i ordered them both at the same time through world of books. I looked on Amazon for it and it was £40.00 !!! Im pleased you found some winter white. Im looking forward to seeing what you create 😊
It is always a good idea to keep Googling for books as Amazon is not always the cheaper option unless they have books in the second hand section. I always search until I find a book in my price range if possible.
I am a cold person but I don't like very thick yarn as it makes me feel a lot fatter than I already am. It's OK if you are lovely and slim and can carry off the extra bulk.
I think that I have found a way to turn off the sound and still keep the alarm ringing on my timer. The colours of my latest cardigan are odd skeins of merino and sock yarn with a navy blue Drops merino yarn run along with every colour to make it thicker.
I think that I have found a way to keep the sound off except for the alarm timer. I don't know why I only get notifications the minute that I start filming. My phone can stay silent most of the time! I think that it's called Sod's law :)
I did use the initial instructions from a video on RUclips but I can't find the one that I used. This video is for a sweater but you could divide the front in half instead of going around ruclips.net/video/cD7G9qY2eys/видео.html
Jan, I found a website you might like, boho over 60. Not sure if available in UK but immediately thought of you. Hugs
Thank you for thinking about me. I do love my Boho designs and vintage patterns.
Beautiful cardigan! You are a wizard with colors, I would never have been able to combine them so masterfully. ❤❤❤

Love what you're wearing today Jan😍 Thanks for the book reviews. Started on the Doris Chan farpoint topper.. very enjoyable to do👍

❤ Lovely Jan, you are shining!
Thank you Esin. x
Your cardigan is looking good. I like that Selena Baca book. 🦥💕🧶
It is a good book. I love the cover shawl the best although I would make it is thinner yarn as it would be very heavy crocheted in chunky.

I think some people might like the thick yarn because the project is finished quicker? But it’s too hot for me…

Jan turn your phone sound down so it is not so loud when you are in camera mode. Love the colours of your new cardigan. What yarn are you using?

However you managed to achieve it, the colours are great. Useful repurposing of various yarns as well. @@UrbanGypsyCrochet
Jam why dont you put your phone on vibration mode when you filming ? 😂 Sometimes or often I jump up when I hear that😂

Did you use a pattern for the cardigan?
