He could've been The Punisher of Agents of Shield. In terms of the show having a well known character from the comics who becomes such a fan favorite that he gets his own show. Sadly Agents of Shield didn't have as many viewers as Daredevil so even though Ghost Rider was in fact gonna have his own show on Hulu. They cancelled it before it even began and instead made a Helstrom show or some shit.
I personally prefer the design on the ghost rider from Nick Cages Ghost Rider 2. The blackened skull and the stilted, jerky way he moves really do it for me

Yeah, they did him justice, Ghost Rider on AoS is great. You should watch AoS. The first half of the first season is little boring but the second half is very good. The second, third season are amazing and fourth is phenomenal (especially from half of the season). I suggest to avoid spoilers because Agents of Shield are full of twist, turns and game changing moments.
the first half of season 5 is suppose to be about the aftermath of the first season of the inhumans so apparntley something big is going to happen in that and the second half is RUMORED to tie into avengers infinity war part 1

You can't blame the show for not having enough budget. It's a mircale they managed to pull it off with him in those 10 episodes. If Kevin Feige actually cared about AoS then it would've had a bigger budget and we probably could've had Ghost Rider for a full season and maybe also either become a full time regular on AoS or get his own show.
