Thank you so much, this is crazy, a couple of days ago I didn't know how to even code, now I know how to write functions. Genuinely thank you for the info you're sharing!
This reaches me to the perfect tiem, thanks 😁👍 I hope my question isn´t to indescrete, but I´ve asked myselfe, wether you´re profitable and if you think that I as a beginner would even have slim a chance of succes in the markets.
I am profitable and it’s my main source of income currently, I’m not rich and it’s slow going. As a beginner you can make money, but you’re expectations need to be realistic - world class traders make 60% per year, as a beginner if you can overcome trade costs you’re doing well with the aim to get to 20% sustainably is a realistic goal. Anyone telling you more than 60% is possible is selling you a dream.
Hy, I just wanted to ask. I have followed and coded the same code as your but when i do strategy testing, the entry point or rather arrows to show but the indicator does show. I also tried time strategies when indicators are not required, so the conditions are met but the entry points or arrows don't show. so I kindly ask if you know what the problem might be for that matter, I been stuck on it for several days now, I can't move forward. Kindly appreciate the help, even from fellow students.
@@toolkitfortraders Actually, I checked... It can be correct as you are checking there the momentum indicator, which is the central point of your traiding logic. But in this case it is just the unnecessary repeat of the code. It can be only one if with "OR" inside for checking any open sell or buy position and closing this position with the buy or sell deal according to the momentum indicator. Also I saw it is possible to close the pending position by cancelling it.

seems like you close the opened sell position and buy position both with buy deal... why? isn't it supposed for sell position to be the sell deal?
Maybe a mistake, I’ll check
