Everybody gets away with stuff for a while. Have you ever studied the six common factors behind the fall of every great nation? Getting away with stuff doesn't mean that God doesn't exist. It just means that you have not been judged yet. I haven't been judged yet either. So, for now it would also appear that I have gotten away with everything I have done too.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. God gave us free will to choose Him or not. He will not force Himself on anyone.

1 Corinthians 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

    J. Vernon MeGee is correct that the rapture is pre-tribulational and correctly teaches that the Covenant theologian is incorrect in Eschatology.

If He came again it would validate (to all who don't believe) that they were wrong for denying Him. If He came again, he would be coming to claim what has always been his, and that would be everything. When he comes back he won't be the gentle lamb led to the slaughter. He is coming back to go to war. I don't think he is going to be killed. But that last sentence is just my opinion.

Maybe something like that. Everyone seems to believe in something and believe in something. Money, their own intellect, their good health, or something less obvious. We're free to believe whatever we choose, but one day, (I have found enough evidence to believe) that we will be held accountable for what we believe.

God doesn't want robots programmed to obey dude. He wants a people free to love him. And without a choice, without an option not to love, or an option to love something else, there would be nothing free about our choices. True freedom, and therefore true love, only comes as an option to be chosen. God is not a dictator. If there were no option to go our own way, we would not be endowed with a choice. Does that make sense?

More like, every time God comes to Earth, He kills sin and makes a way that we can be reconciled in our relationship with Him. He was killed for a purpose dude. We became fascinated with his creation, and chose it over him. We chose to love everything created, and to deny His hand in it all.

Not to a person who thinks they are getting away with something for the moment. Even you have faith in many things. In fact, everything you believe that you have not seen first hand is something that you have faith in. A person could not function without faith. Faith just meaning, believing without seeing. Without faith a person couldn't believe a thing he read in the paper, or in geography concerning places that he himself has never been. Faith is not difficult. It's practiced by everyone.

I don't need faith to believe a rock exists or to believe humans have achieved flight. I've seen those things. I've never considered there is a difference in faith, only the object or belief in what people have faith in. I guess I need the long version, because your short version isn't making sense to me. Are you saying that you also have to have faith in things you can see to know they exist? And, if someone doesn't believe in God, I also walk away. Help me better understand what you are saying
