They were known to be very arrogant, greedy, & often looked down on people who weren't nobility like them. And while the Medici's weren't saints they were a lot more levelheaded & much less stuck up due to being from humble origins. They also were very good at governing & providing for the people of Florence.
These scene are really a heartbreaking. The medici value love family and humanity. The way Lorenzo lost himself because grief of his brother, it break my heart the most. The way he said he should do something more, the way he blame himself it makes me cry all overnight. The cast played their character very well, especially daniel sharman and the man who played Jacopo. He can make me hate him haha
