One of my favourite episodes of any podcast ever (and as a millennial woman that's a lot of hours listened to) - a brilliant 25th episode and Penelope is a delight!
I’ve got not belief or interest in psychic things. I think it’s all nonsense, but this was a brilliant episode to watch. So much fun and once Penelope settled in, she was properly on board.
So funny to mention goat cause that episode was thee G.O.A.T! So brilliant!! Loveeeed it in every way. Laughed a lot! Especially, at one point both your faces were amazing! @Marmitequotemark
This was incredible especially the evolving reactions you both had. Catherine had more fun than I think she thought she would and Helen had less especially when she felt seen. Both of them felt very seen at times which was hilarious to watch. Penelope is amazing and gave such real advice about just general life things and life lessons in how to live a more fulfilling life and make better choices. She 100% needs to come back to do a look back on this in the future and see what came of their lives in the interim. Catherine needs to find herself a hot scientist lady to show her wonders she never knew existed. Maybe they can do sexy experiments together, lol.
One thing I can agree with Penelope on - if you're learning to drive learn in London. I can't face driving in London even without congestion charge, LEZ, ULEZ etc.
I don't deal with tax accounting, but knowing one or two, they can be worth their weight in gold for busy professionals. And not just for Jimmy Carr...
Mmmm. So Helen's going to get with someone in the comedy business. So either Sunil or Rosie. 😜 As for Catherine. Interesting about not dating anyone who has seen her do comedy. Is that just professional detachment, like a barmaid not dating customers? Or is it because, as she says in her current show, part of her audience base is "Old Men..." 😁
Loved this episode, great idea Helen. Am I the only one totally gutted that Catherine won’t consider interest in anybody who has seen her comedy? 😔 May have to reconsider going to her tour show in Brum now just to increase my already, teeny tiny odds are dashed even more 🤦♀️ There’s going to be loads of serious hot fans dying to be given a chance. I do hope they both get all they want and dream both personally and professionally, and they are still making this podcast when they are 104 xx
It's the power dynamic. She'd be better suited with someone who's at her level in their own field of work so that they can help each other progress. Otherwise major imbalances in the relationship would feel unmanageable I could not imagine approaching a performer with any more admiration than a student saying hello to a teacher
I hope they have Penelope back on in a year, see what panned out. Loved this episode
This is a great idea
This episode was great - really love Penelope
She may be back soon...

Thank you!
Helen, I watch the podcast for you 💚 Team Helen!
I loved the vibe on this, sensitive Helen and descepticised Catherine. Love love love. ❤
Interesting

I loved this episode. I’m not someone who really believes in this stuff, but it feels like it’s allowed you both time for reflection
