I’m 60 years old and (re)discovered them last summer. Never in my life have I crushed so hard on a band. Joining their Patreon, buying their merch, dreaming of seeing a live concert, etc. I feel like a teenybopper! It’s mildly embarrassing but also glorious, so I just embrace it.
I can’t even put my finger on what it is exactly. I guess it’s just everything. Songwriting, live chops, vocal harmonies, stage presence, epic backstory, early talent, and the determination to improve. Above all, the authenticity shown in their love of family, love of music, and love for the fans. Makes me teary eyed.
I love this so much! ❤️ And it’s definitely not something to be embarrassed about. What we like is just what we like. Simple as that. This band is most definitely a great band to crush on lol. I hope you get to see them live some day! 🤘

I saw them live at their first continental europe concert ever in Berlin last year. After that i saw them live in Barcelona and went in october to their 10th anniversary concert in México City at the Pepsi Center. There is no day without hearing music from The Warning an i seek every snippet of information i can get on social media. Yes, i think i am part of the TWA! Thank you for your great reaction Tonia. At that Berlin concert the fans were epic! They were singing all their songs!
Called Ugh because that was what they exclaimed every time they tried to finish it. Their dad encouraged them to finish it. The One and The Sacrifice came out of the effort. Even so, it is such a masterpiece that they still play it today in all their concerts.

I completely, 100% missed them until October. I saw a Reel on Facebook featuring Ale getting down with her bass, and went to RUclips and watched the Evolve video. 20 times.
The bass play by Ale is great 👍.
This is one of the best recordings at the Metropolitan concert. Ale's vocal level was high enough to be heard, which doesn't always happen.
Fun fact: Dany has forgotten the lyrics from time to time (it's not a regular on their set list), and Pau jumps right in (she can see Dany getting in trouble). All for one and one for all.

The song that almost wasn't! The title Ugh stems from their frustration while writing it, they almost shelved it but their dad encouraged them to finish it, and I am glad they did!

TWA! This whole album is a masterpiece. It’s fantastic as a rock novel but the songs all stand just as well on their own. Can’t wait to someday see it done live with a full symphony. (10th anniversary sounds like a nice round number😊)

Hey Tonia - Yep, TWA Denmark reporting here (but, I am also member of the Nightwish Army and Epican). The 5 songs from QOTMS played at Teatro Metropolitan (Dust to Dust, Ugh, Hunter, Dull Knives (cut better) and Queen Of The Murder Scene of course really hightligth the maturing of TW. But, the same songs and the rest of the songs from the concept album played by younger TW at Lunario are, IMO, stellar and showcase Dany the storyteller, Pau the busy bee and Ale the freebird.

As a member of TWA I´m of course looking for every one who is reacting to my favorite band. Every reactor deserves a thumbs up for promoting DPA, but every one does not deserve a sub, but you are. The guitar outro in Ugh is simply haunting.
This is such a well crafted song performed at such a high level here.
The infatuation from Crimson Queen is slowly transforming to obsession. It’s a perfect continuation in the context of the QOTMS concept but it also stands by itself concerning the expression of frustration that you can’t let go of.
Dany is absolutely a boss onstage but she does it in an unassuming way that doesn’t overshadow the talents of her sisters.
Pau is ferocious behind her kit and appropriately commands the attention of the audience when the situation demands it.
Ale gracefully prowls her area of the stage and doesn’t require validation from anyone. She doesn’t seek any spotlight but she is absolutely mesmerizing to watch onstage.

Excellent comments, Tonia, the music that the Villarreal sisters compose is not really complicated, but it is very well written and immediately attractive. It is not strange that when this music is excellently performed on stage as they know how to do it, it is a delight to enjoy it.

So a few months ago just browsing reaction vids I kept seeing The Warning. Never clicked on one. Then I checked out the official video for "More". I was like.... What is this? Then I watched "Evolve" at the VMA's. Instantly hooked. I showed my 39 year old nephew. He was like yeah I have heard em. Not impressed. I said WTF did you watch? LOL! Your loss dude!

Nice shirt from "The Crow." This song began by Dany playing around on guitar and the opening riff just came out. As they were putting the song together, they switched it to open on the bass. They had so much trouble with this song they re-wrote it about 20x, each time with different lyrics, different melodies. They finished writing lyrics for this song as they were recording in the studio. The had so much trouble with this song they just left it as "Ugh" because each time they started working on it and had to scrap it and start over they said, "Ugh." But, two other songs came out of the scraps they threw away from "Ugh."

Good reaction. I listen to new music the same way. The music has to grab me first. If I like it, then I go back and listen to the lyrics carefully. It's too much to take in everything at one time. I joined the TWA about a year ago. Best rabbit hole ever! 😀

I still don’t understand at almost 65 how a band as fantastic as they are is not better known. What’s up with that. Will join their army till the end of my days. They are the first band that hit the nerves deep inside of me. Gave me shivers the first video and almost everyone since. Haven’t had that happen in over 20 years. Maybe longer. ❤❤❤

I’ve enjoyed new rock, pop, culture, rap, reggae, techno, and many other genres and there’s been quite a few bands like Korn to name one that really gets me going but like I said, the warning is the first one that gave me that feelings since the 80s And I’m looking forward to more.
