- The scam involving IAS trainee Puja Khedkar has also exposed not just others who faked their disability and caste status; but also shone a light on those with genuine disabilities who could not get any respite from the system. Meet Kartik Kansal, in a wheelchair since 14 who cleared his UPSC Finals four times but did not get any service. He has 90% muscular dystrophy disability.

@@krishi.0 kis baat ka 50%? har state me minimum 60% reservation hai.. koi koi state me 65-70% tak hai, jo scheduled hai wo 10 state me 80% hai, 50% court ne bola hai EWS chodke, lekin jadatar state trick karke reservation leke gaya 70% ke aaspasss..
aur ye 40% ke andar bhi sc.st.obc, women, handicapped sab ghusenge.. toh kahaka 50% rahe gaya..?? kuch hisab lagake baat karo

The Whole Purpose of a disabilty quota is that people with disabilities can avail a job. Now you have a genuine case being rejected by UPSC.
Om Birla's Daughter's UPSC candidature should be also investigated. Dal mai kuch kala nahi hai puri daal kali hai.

She passed the exam by General Category. She didn't use any fake certificate like Pooja Khedkar

Man I hated this system since I was in school. I was merit student but didn't got any scholarship in school but those with quota tend to get scholarship even they are failing in school and enjoying that money for drinking.
My cousin has muscle dystrophism and he couldn't get disability certificate till now.He is 28years old now

Our country and its reservation policy is in shambles. One of my friend who is a bc was complaining that sc/st cut off was much lower than hers . I mean the audacity of her when she also has reservation . This whole system of reservation and special privileges are rotting the country .

With all respect and admiration for the determination of such candidates who have cleared IAS, i have to state that it is very difficult for a challenged person to cope up with rigors involved in a IAS post which cannot be a solely a desk job.
India should definitely support such brilliant and determined individuals but not in this particular service.
There are so many other great posts which are suitable and should be allocated accordingly.
My statement may seem harsh but i am a firm believer that the people of India come first and nothing should hamper the progress of India.
This is nothing 2 people of disability quota in my medical college were basketball players of they used to limp only during viva 😂😂
