Indeed I was deeply saddened to learned that Lime Rock will not be hosting USCC in 2014 (also no Baltimore). I'm glad I got to see ALMS at Lime Rock on it it's last visit. Definitely one of the coolest experiences I've had!
Rebellion will coemback to the ALMS at Road America and will also race at COTA and the Petit Le Mans, They're developing the new Rebellion R-One LMP1 car for the WEC in 2014. So they're focusing on that right now.
Yep, at least they're coming for Petit LM. Wished Audi and Toyota would also come with one car to Petit, but unfortunately the WEC 6h of Fuji is at the same weekend.
Bigger engine than last year but mainly it doesn't conform to existing regs and is looking toward being involved in '14. As it is a developmental project, its goal this year is not outright speed, but gradual improvement of the concept.
That's not the point. The point is, this car can't compete against the other P1 cars, because it has less power. I mean this car is even slower than some of the LMPC cars. Delta Wing Racing have to make this car more powerfull for next year, so it can compete against the DP's and P2 cars in the USCR.
How about using the reasoning for R&D? It's not going to be able to keep up with the big boys, however it is much more efficient by leaps and bounds. Gotta do things differently every so often.
ALMS is a lot better about full course cautions than NASCAR, lol. Also, Le Mans 2013 at Sarthe had over 5 hours of full course caution I think. 5 freakin hours! Its not only Americans..
I'm not very familiar with all the rules, but I'm surprised the P1 car in pole position wasn't penalized as opposed to only delaying the green flag. Confused. False start sounds like the driver's fault in delaying the race another lap.
It's a technological exercise. I simply do not understand all the self proclaimed racing and car enthusiasts that are so quick to dismiss this thing. WTF is the problem?
To ALMS. This is a massive service to the public for posting the entire schedule online, for free, thanks! CotA in 2 days! \o/

Thanks for posting this, the only way for me to see it!
Yes, it should be done! Retain the ALMS livestream too for USCR!

No Lime Rock on the USCC 2014 schedule. What a shame.
Too short, yes. But it maybe that's why this race is awesome. Lot of work to the Prototype's drivers.

It will be in the P2 equivalent class when USCR takes over.
Thanks a lot for the upload! Very cool :)
Still can't believe I was in the pit for this race!
That will depend if the deltawing is allowed to race due to new rules.
oh wow nice race
3:14:43 starts the Guy Cosmo post race interview.
grandam and alms combo in 2014 should be interesting
Too bad that didn't happen. I'm a big fan of Rebellion. There's still Petit Le Mans...
At least it's in the CTSCC 2014 schedule. And the USCC wanted Kansas instead...
Pulled out so that they can focus their efforts on their car for next year.
0:24 im sorry but that was hilarious ☠️
the rebellion is running the alms they are just skipping a few races for the development of new p1 car for 2014
thanks
Oh wooooooow, there is jumping a start and then there's *that*.
Guy Cosmo's a real champ, well said.
Thank you for sharing ^______^

Will next year's USCR races be uploaded to youtube as well or is that something that hasn't been decided yet?

Where's the Cosmo interview? haha :)
Am I the only one catching up on this race in 2024?
Nope!
any one else notice the national anthem @11:48? tisk tisk tisk

Well, it IS LimeRock :p you can go nearly anywhere :)
13 minutes under yellow for them to move that PC car off big bend.. Wow..

How dare anyone defile the name of glorious Deltawing!
M POWER BMW for Life
Yeah it really should be in P2. And my dad and i agree - it's a dumb project all round.
The problem in american racing is the cautions, they are too big part of it. The last caution had no reason, if you cant move your car, retire.
The penalties are too harsh, especially for this track. Stop and 1min hold will make you lose a lap
They'd laugh about this in Europe.
lime rock, its a good track with bits missing. about 2 miles missing in fact. what is the point putting big powerful cars on a go kart track?
i am so glad this place has been left off the 2014 calendar. its too short.
james atkinson well it came back for 2015
Don't worry, they're racing at the new Tilkedrome in Austin later this year. I'm sure you'll get the stale, boring racing you crave there.
All the trolling of the delta wing and ALMS in general is getting ridiculous. If you don't like don't watch it. Its that simple.
Deltawing is such a pointless thing in the P1 category.
I love the series and Lime Rock Park, but this track is not suitable for the ALMS.
Damn.. SRT sucks! they always come in last place. do they know how to fucking drive?????
bullshit comment.... SRT Viper GTS-R is a monster !
There is no sense, an useless & stupid motorsport's project in my opinion......
