Buying an elephant can be cheap,but it's maintenance is not. That is what with most things. Not to mention the responsibility. There is a saying in my language for someone who spends more than he/she earns,always in debt,loans etc-Horse costs 6 rupees while its food costs 9 rupees.Also buying is one time,maintenance is lifetime
