We just got a large bag of wild rice from a friend who harvested the wild rice himself up near Park Rapids. As a Red Lake Ojibwe I’d love to harvest my own some day. 🥰

On a average me and dad would finish 3000 to 4500 pounds of rice every season.

Very interesting how wild rice is harvested and processed. I can’t wait to cook my wild rice I just bought in Duluth Minnesota!
