Did you ever confirm if that was calcite you found in the road cut? My daughter found a smallish piece there on Thanksgiving and we aren’t sure either but it’s soooooo cool!

Not sure which was my favorite from this segment. All really cool awesome places to rockhound, but Hart Mountain just looked so amazing. Lots of nice material and colors found there. I hope one day very soon I can make it back and try my luck at one of those locations. Really would love to try that sunstone mine. Still loved the views with that storm rolling in. Hate it when ya gotta wait til next season for one of your favorite shows to start back up 😆. At least got these cool recaps 🙂

That road cut pocket/seam was fantastic! My lord! Gorgeous material! Not to down play your sunstone or hart mt finds, but OMG! Your sunstones were gorgeous too! lol! And then there was the fire opal! That was some phenomenal stuff. The color and clarity was exceptional! But boy do you have to work hard for it! But its worth it. Thank you for the recap of your exceptional finds for the year. Man its going to be hard to beat that road cut find next season. That was a stunner and an absolute surprise find! Cant wait to find out what you get up to next season! Oregon really does have some phenomenal treasures. You just have to go out and find them! Thanks for sharing all of your awesome adventures Andrew! You and Quest found some really beautiful stuff.

Thanks Largent! I'm really hoping to find the time to make something nice this winter with some of the material I found. I've gifted some of it to friends (as you have seen) that are good at lapidary just in case I cant find the time lol
Thank you for all of your support and I hope all is well with you ^^
      Cheers!

@@TheRogueRockhound I am good and thanks for asking! I have seen your gifting much of it to others. It will be interesting what they do with it. I hope you find the time to at least do something wonderful, with that lovely road cut material! That stuff is amazing!
