I’d like to know what water/nutrient you use during the plug stage. For instance, what ppm, tap or RO, how much if any fertilizer and what type. Thanks for the demo!
Very good, Thank you. I am planing to get in business in the city where I live. It is about helping some people in the area to grow some of their the veggies they eat i a regular basis. This idea goes very good with the idea I am working on.
@@jdsawyer8058 so you can not plant the plugs into the soil once it grows. I wanted to create soil roots. But I tried it once and failed maybe I let the water roots grow to long.
On the left she is using the polystyre seedling trays. Yes those plugs is nice but the cost up to 3 times more the buying a rooted seedling plug at the nursery. The supplier of the seedlings to the nursery have close to 100% germination rate in home made growing medium. Americans all about advertising. Don't give knowledge.
Thank you. Great!
Bought something very similar here in Colorado... Had a small hole in the bottom. My roots went through the hole and were hard to remove.
Hello! Thanks for sharing. How do you accommodate the coco coir and peat moss that goes into your system when transplanting please?
great recommendation! thanks.
Awesome video! Does the plug material get messy or require any long time cleanup when used with aquaponics? Thanks so much

A very good explanation, but I'm wondering what was the recommended temperature to grow lettuce?
Hey everyone, the greatest success that I have had was with the Keiths Ponics Site (i found it on google) without a doubt the no.1 info i've tried.
How many inches should one wait before releasing them in the garden
where do you get the trays to buy????
Do you add fertilizer once the true leaves appear
where do you get those plugs?
Are the plugs reusable once you've transplanted the seedlings into the grow beds?
No, the roots will go through.
You r owsm
Great video Can you plant them in soil?
We typically avoid using soil in aquaponic systems as it leaches into the water and "mucks up" the system. It can also introduce soil borne pathogens.
