    I made home made fries from potato and I know that taro is quite a bit harder than potato but I think you may be able to take a sharp wide blade and very carefully slice each slice manually you will have more even slices and they won't be too thick. Your food processor made them slightly thick in my opinion but I learned that you can frie it for potato chips. Thank you

    I'm 16 and we don't really have any food processor at home so I improvised using a peeler.

      @@simeslays_oninsta yes you can definitely still fry it. Best to let it dry overnight now since you have the perfect saltiness already from the soaking. 🙂

    can I suggest you get a little strainer insert for your drain or you will need a plumber with all that loose stuff going down your sink. It will eventually plug your drain. Good Video thank you. They looked delicious and I was sad I couldn't taste them. So I will make my own. from Canada!

      Overnight is good. put it on paper tower or towel for the water to be absorbed

    What other kind if oil can you use instead of vegetable oil to fry the gabi in?

      I sometimes use palm oil. Another healthier version is just to bake it

    Hmm I was excited about this until you contradicted yourself. I lost interest as soon as you mentioned vegetable oil to deep fry. So unhealthy.
