Aw sis glad to know this recipe will help you with your vegan lifestyle. ❤ I'm your new subie. Keep those gorgeous white locks and matte lippies. Love it!
I made home made fries from potato and I know that taro is quite a bit harder than potato but I think you may be able to take a sharp wide blade and very carefully slice each slice manually you will have more even slices and they won't be too thick. Your food processor made them slightly thick in my opinion but I learned that you can frie it for potato chips. Thank you \
@@simeslays_oninsta yes you can definitely still fry it. Best to let it dry overnight now since you have the perfect saltiness already from the soaking. 🙂
Your vedio is vivid and clear for the beginners,,, very interesting,,, I just want to know where to buy and how much is your machine slicer, do we have that here in the Philippines
can I suggest you get a little strainer insert for your drain or you will need a plumber with all that loose stuff going down your sink. It will eventually plug your drain. Good Video thank you. They looked delicious and I was sad I couldn't taste them. So I will make my own. from Canada!
Giiirl i needed this! Im thinking of going full vegan this year! Im so excited to do this! ♥️

Thats a neat trick Patrick. It is challenging to get it to a uniformed "thinness". Glad to know the video helped you. Keep cooking.
Hi from Brazil! I found Taro plants growimg a lot in my parents farm and I am so curious about how I can eat it. Thank you to share the chipps recipe!
Cook it like Cassava
You can mash it up like potatoes
I'm cuban, and I think what you called TARO, is what in Cuba and in most of the Caribbean Islands we call MALANGA !
Share Cuban recipe please! I would love to know!
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏for sharing this wonderful recipe video on making taro root chips.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Grabe ang lutong. Gagawin ko din yan dahil ok pala sa diabetic ang taro.
I'm 16 and we don't really have any food processor at home so I improvised using a peeler.
Thats a very creative and out-of-the-box mindset of yours. Great job! Hope you enjoyed the taro chips.
@@RicasHomeySpace oops I actually forgot to fry it!😂 it's still in the fridge. Is it still ol to fry it tomorrow morning?

@@RicasHomeySpace the taro root big here in Canada are all rotten when we but then so I ended up not trying your dilecious recipe
That’s looks so good 😊. Yummy 😋😍🥰
Delicious 👍
Another veggie chips to try!
Would you recommend paprika?
That is also a good spice to add if you want a kick to the chips.
The roosters were fine, but the background music was distracting.
Hello. I just want to know the ingredients and procedure.
This could've been a 3-5 min vid. 😅
okey naman.
Pwede b sya home busines?
Definitely...going to make it when i do my fasting...Like & Sub. already...TY...
Gawin ko to. omG!!!
2:59 where do you buy this Big Taro from? Secondly, what processor are you using? I need one
I buy it from a farmers market and the food processor is Phillips
How long did you soak it for?
I soaked it for an hour. 🙂🙂
Need b b syani sun dry o overnight dry?
Overnight is good. put it on paper tower or towel for the water to be absorbed
I like this gabi chips
Maybe other option is air fry
What is the advantage of taro chips compared to potato chips?
That is not Taro. That is Yautia.
Bakit walang sugar kang nilagay
NiCE!
Too much talking
What other kind if oil can you use instead of vegetable oil to fry the gabi in?
I sometimes use palm oil. Another healthier version is just to bake it
Use mandolin
It literally took 16 minutes to actually get started 🤦🏽♀️ girl you have to learn how to edit to get to the point
That is not taro or gabi, that is bisol or karlang
Mas maganda po pag bake mas healthy
Healthy deep fried tubers.
too much talk for a 2 minute cooking video
Norina Alcordo you might want to check out Tasty videos. Seems that your attention span is shorter than my vid format 😊
Rica's Homey Space thank you. that is a good suggestion. i will look into that.
Agree
busila
Just fry
Hmm I was excited about this until you contradicted yourself. I lost interest as soon as you mentioned vegetable oil to deep fry. So unhealthy.
Frying is not healthy at all.
