they are afraid of a pet but not the ones who domesticated the animals that they are afraid of😅 if i was them i would be afraid of the humans more

I think the logic behind it is if they consider the cat scary, then humans must be even more fearsome and dangerous.

Just a minor quibble... I don't know anyone who calls their pet cat "it."

  • @mikoto7693

A few minor quibbles about this one. Nobody who owns a cat will call their beloved pet an “it.” And all cat owners know stuffing a cat into a closet wouldn’t work if she isn’t willing.
It’s also incredibly stupid for someone keeping a cat contained inside their quarters to leave the door to the outside areas ajar. If she wants to leave and you keep the door ajar then she will run out.
My cats aren’t allowed to leave my home and they know it. Fortunately they don’t want to escape but from previous experience they will even bolt when you open the door if you aren’t careful.

Can't anyone close a door, I would think that in the future all the doors would be automatic.

Great little story, but with one little problem. As a cat-dad I can't stand so many references to poor Luna as "it". That's something most pet owners would find difficult to handle.

The cats I owned alway knew how to avoid objects. They never broke anything, they never caused anything to fall. It was the dogs that caused mayhem and chaos.

One cat I had would regularly bat objects off a counter so she could nap in the sun. She had quite a unique personality. She liked to accompany me on evening walks. I miss her, best cat ever!

@@kazemizu Our cats learned very quickly that tables and kitchen furniture were off-limits. But of course we were so smart not to leave any food unguarded. More because of the dogs(s) than the cat(s) though. Especially my last dog who wasn't picky and would eat anything.
