It's funny hearing Ran speak on this topic bc that was the whole shit with the A-Team.. Hitch had the metaphors.. Hitch would stretch a multi rhyme for like 12 bars.. far as technique he was a WAY better rapper than Ransom
But at the end of the day.. when you actually listen to the songs.. Ran was bodying Hitch on every single track.. and it's BECAUSE Ran was on records at least TRYING to say something.. it's crazy to hear what kinds of conversations go into rap styles.. and how those styles turn into careers.
