I have to say you are spot on about engagement and reels. Personally I find reels give the worst engagement from my followers out of everything I post. Yes, reels reach more people. Yes, as a result of higher reach they do get more engagement via likes from people who are not following me. But for high level engagement and interactions (be it shares, comments, saves etc), photos and carousel posts for me vastly excel over reels. Sometimes it can easily be triple the amount I get on reels, even though those photo/carousel posts might have had a fraction of the overall reach the reel got.

This all sounds great but if they only show my video to 10 people, I'm not sure what to do. Is the answer to spend money I don't have to hire people to give me advice or pay Instagram to show my content to people? I'm so frustrated. During the past i did some comments on some posts that instagram found inapropriate and removed them.... could this be the reason that now after so many months my Reels engagement is super low ? My account status is ok with many ✅in all the categories of Account Status besides the category of Removed content which is:❗with many affected content ....and two of them are still in review after 6-7 months. Will ever instagram algorithm ``forgive`` me or my account is finished because ot the comments i did during the past ?
